Just to bring this thread up to date, has anyone tried Michelin PS3/4s on an S2/3 Elise or S2 Exige?
Im currently running AD08RSs that came with the car and find them awful compared to the previous Rs. Want to get them off asap.
Choice seems to be
205/55/R16 PS4 front
225/45/R17 PS4 rear
OR
205/45/R16 PS3 fronts
I’m aware of the possible rubbing issues on a 55 profile front (got Nitrons and lowered ride height)
Avon ZZS is another option.
Help!

Hey Paul,
Link to #6 here:
Also I saw a comment suggesting #13 moving on again in a post I saw the FB Exige V6 group but haven't seen an ad.
Thank you Arun👍🏻(Sorry, thought I’d already replied to this but it disappeared)
Seen the white one and it’s not really my preferred colour plus I’d like a standard (ish) one.
No13 is indeed for sale at Central Lotus for £50k, dealer won’t move on the price, it’s now on 6 owners plus it’s had some odd mods done.
So I’m still on the lookout for one so if anyone is considering selling 🙂

V6 Cup wanted - if you’re thinking of selling then drop me a message, anything considered.

Evening all, I’m on the lookout for a V6 Cup so if anyone is thinking of selling, feel free to DM me 🙂

Been thinking of selling my pewter cup.
not really done anything serious about it put it on pistonheads at the start of the year and agreed a deal pretty much straight away with a guy on Spain but then lockdown got in the way and travel restrictions etc And also think he was having issues specific to registering the cup in Spain..
probably Not a good time to advertise it at the moment though?
Yeh, I remember that going fast. Jon has made an offer for it as did targo florio cars and both were ok for dealers to be fair, but I just want to try myself first when I finally pull my finger out.
have to find what I want to replace it with first though and that’s where I struggle.
@Messer I messaged you a couple of days ago about your car on Seloc.
How much are you looking for money wise?

That’s definitely a 380. It has the wrong front clam, splitter and tailgate for a 410 along with having the front canards.
-
You should be able to run them at standard ride height without any issues (all my previous Nitrons on S1/S2 Elises were able to do this). Double check with Nitron or Ohlins when buying them though for peace of mind

No ECU recoding required on my Exige410. It all worked once the switch was installed.
Same on my 410 too 👍🏻

No, the 350 and 380 downpipes are different sizes, you need to buy a custom link pipe so the 380 backbox will marry up to the 350 down pipe. Jim at 2bular will make you one. @Schnitzel had this done on his V6 Cup and it sounds great.

So, to be clear, they’re exactly the same pads fitted to all other V6 Exiges even though the larger(?) standard J hook Alcon discs are on the car?
This would make purchasing options easier (as in it simply becomes a choice between maker/compound) as I can’t find any specific 410 fitment mentioned anywhere. @Seriouslylotus any advice on this? 🙂
Cheers for all the advice so far.

https://www.seriouslylotus.com/braking/brake-pads/performance-friction/performance-friction-front-brake-pads-exige-v6-evoraPF08 have a really good immediate bite. Downsides are more brake dust and a bit of squeaking (not enough to annoy me though).
@GFWilliams thanks very much, I can’t see the other thread though, could you post a link? 👍🏻

Hi All,
Anyone have any suggestions for brake pads on Exige 410s?
I’m not really liking the lack of initial bite in the std pads so looking for something a little more aggressive. I’m used to running Pagid RS-14s on all my previous Elises but finding 410 pad options doesn’t seem too straightforward.
Any pointers much appreciated 👍🏻

I think you’re getting confused with a 380 Cup. All the Cup cars come with the roll hoop, Sports do not.
-
380/410 doesn’t have one.
Harness bar is easily fitted though (S2 Elise/Exige version fits). I’ve got a harness bar and Schroth harnesses in my 410.

Just saw the orange 350 and walked away. Happy to have a private message as to the reason should anyone else have it on their radar.
What the hell is wrong with it with 1000 miles on the clock?! I test drove it with 800 miles on it and it was immaculate 😳

😬 @alias23 Any anticipated date for a 410 version though?
-
@alias23 any news on a 410/430 version yet?
I’m getting fed up with @Schnitzel pegging my 410 in every gear with his Alias induction equipped V6 Cup 🤣😜-

I did see that one but not being from a Lotus dealer I didn't look much further. Great colour though
It was supplied new by Bell and Colville, had one owner who did 800 miles in it and was sold to its second owner last year. It’s done 200 miles since then. Still under warranty from Lotus - pretty risk free if you ask me 🤷♂️
-
I test drove that very car last year and almost bought it (couldn’t sell my car at the time). It’s done 200 (200!!!) miles since then and is absolutely mint. I’d be all over that if I was buying a 350.

Has she got a name yet Yiannis?!

Had mine serviced at B&C on 23rd March just before they closed down. BoT and Analogue are also closed as I’d imagine are all the others .

Yea part number is A138U0246K according to Deroure.
Adding in the fixings it looks to be around £100 plus VAT so I think I’ll go for it
Any gone 350Sport to 410Sport

I believe it depends how old your car is if it’ll work or not. My old one was a late 18 car and literally plugged it in and it worked.
As others have said, it goes on the left hand side (in a mirror position to the button on the right that does trip reset, brightness etc) of the steering column, there should be a blanking bung there - once you remove the plastic cover around the steering column there should be a pair of wires with a green plug marked EX SW or similar. Connect the switch to this plug and it ‘should’ work.
