Red Line MT90 gets my vote, Put this in my 2010 Exige along with up-rated engine mounts and this mod transformed the gear change 👍

Same here mate, I'll definitely come and say hello.

I am Dutch so I carry a bicycle pump to track days. The tiny front tyres don't take long to pump up (10 pushes). The rears need a bit more exercise, but it is still faster than a 12V compressor. I understand that it looks weird.
I use he floor type bicycle pump, I also find then quicker to use 👍

Avon recommend 30psi hot for both ZZR and ZZS tyres, I've run both tyres at this pressure and they seem to perform well for my track driving needs.
-
I swapped my A048's for Avon ZZS as I didn't want to mess about having 2 sets of wheels. They are still a semi-slick tyre but so much better in the wet than A048's including standing water.
No complaint on track back in march in cool wet, damp and dry conditions, Ultimate test will be a fully dry track day on a warm/hot day, Hopefully will be able to confirm after the LOT day at Blyton next weekend.

Bloody hell, I thought I had a trek of 2 to 2.5 hrs each way...... Not envious of that journey
-
I'll be there along with a good few from MLOC 👍
Great little circuit with a mix of corners and low risk, only part to take extra caution on is the Wriggler chicane but never had a problem myself but seen 1 car in the barrier last year and they always mention this in the briefing.
You can find some videos on my You Tube channel <HERE> Some of my S1 & Clio Cup.

Just had a charge cooler fitted, it's sprung a leak from a radiator hose so it's a bodywork off job. Nothing serious but time consuming.
Arghhhh, that's a bugger

What a shame, Was looking forward to seeing it..... Hope nothing serious.

Nice, Look forward to seeing your 2-11..... If one of our group manages to get a garage your more than welcome to use it as we only need it to keep our tools dry etc.

I'm running 195 on the front on my S Cup due to having the option wheels, the steering is heavier but nothing you can't live with. Ideally you need 6.5 or 7.0 wide rims to run 195 tyres.

Hi @BatMobile. I had Hangar 111 instal the Komo-Tec phase 3 upgrade. The Elise Cups use the Toyota Prius engine, which in original form is (I think) 1600 cc and comes with a very restricted exhaust system. Lotus increase the capacity to 1800cc but leave the exhaust for homologisation reasons. So, what KT do is effectively uncork the engine. The mods are: 1) on the exhaust side: install much larger 4 into 1 manifold, change to a large 200 cell Cat and have you separately purchase a free flow sports exhaust. 2) on the inlet side they instal a TRD airbox and a smaller supercharger pulley and belt to increase supercharger boost. Then they remap the engine to take advantage of the new free flow characteristics. The upshot is the power increases from 217 bhp to about 260 bhp and the torque increases from 187 ft lbs to about 210 ft lbs. The revised torque characteristics are great, giving more early torque with a flatter curve over a much wider rev range. I'm not sure what the upgraded performance stats are but I've been on track with 250 Cups who's owners confessed they could not keep up accelerating out of corners. Mind you they are better drivers than me through the bends, where it matters, but in a drag race they'r toast. The stock S/220, 250 and 260 cup are all effectively the same torque. However, the last time I looked, the only derivative that KT provide upgrades for are the S/220 Cup. Attempts to upgrade the 250 Cups seem to put them in limp modes, which is a real shame because the chassis can handle so much more. Having said all that my car is relatively heavy at about 930 kg. I know of an owner of a new Elise sprint who is having the KT upgrade in March and his car only weighs about 860 kg, which will be really potent. With regards June options Alastair the only thing I've booked is Thruxton on 25th June. I'm not at home at the moment: currently in a hotel about 2 miles from Bedford Autodrome ready for track day tomorrow, (Friday) then travelling on Saturday to Brands Hatch for another trackday on Sunday. Goodwood on the 1st sounds good to me, but need to check with the boss and I'll get back to you.
I've been looking at this option and plan to upgrade my S Cup over next winter, Results sound great
