  1. Wow, that is stunning.
  2. After a month in the garage, my Evora has developed a creaky undercarriage. Knew I should have bought share in the ARB bushes manufacturer....
  3. Is Guatemala a big export market for Lotus? (I googled the TG aircraft prefix)
  4. Just to follow this up, as my Golf failed its MOT so I've been using the Evora as a daily and have to say i'm impressed with the new Michelin's on the rear. They seem a little more pliant and certainly have more grip in the wet (though the P Zeros were basically bald, so not a huge surprise).
  5. I find the IPS gets better the harder you drive it. Mine feels a little hesitant when doodling about, but feels plenty sharp when pushing on. I always have it in Sport mode (unless coming on going at unsociable hours*) and I use the paddles all the time. *of course, when leaving home, the neighbours have already been woken by the boom when the engine starts
  6. Sorry for the delay in responding, thanks for all the advice. I got Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres fitted to the rears at the weekend. The fronts have a bit more life left in them so will wait till next year to change them so they all match.
  7. My Evora needs new rear tires, currently has P Zeros on, but now looking at Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S as replacement. Are these still the reccomended option? They are 255/35/R19s by the way.
  8. Have used your words to convince the wife that we're better off holding on to my Evora for a while
  9. Yes, that's what concerns me. Luckily i'm not desperate to sell, so if I have to wait it's not the end of the world (who could mind having an Evora in the garage...). Having been watching the used lotus market on and off for a while, I've been amazed by how prices have held - sadly with all that's going on in the economy generally, I wouldn't be surprised to see demand/prices falling.
  10. OK, so after 4+ years I've decided I'm definitely going to sell the Evora. Very difficult decision as every time I drive it I fall in love with it, but I'm just not driving it enough. I had considered chopping it in for an Elise, but Elise prices seem to be very strong now, so might go without for a while. Anybody had any recent experience of the market for an Evora S IPS 2012 MY (27k miles)?
  11. Thanks very much, will look into those two.
  12. Can anybody recommend somebody in Kent to give my Evora S a bit of TLC - removing fine scratches etc?
  13. Finally had chance to get ARB bushes and noisy brakes sorted on the Evora. After picking it up early this morning, driving it in the sun through the lovely lanes of Kent, I fell in love with it all over again, bloody amazing car.
  14. I've had his book on my shelf for ages, and sadly it's taken his passing to make me read it. I'm 100 pages in and it's wonderful. He tells a wonderfully exciting story (and he hasn't even gone to war yet), while remaining incredibly humble.
  15. Looked great. Considered taking my Evora but decided not to risk it due to the bumpy tracks through the Hop Farm, hope you managed not to ground it out!
