In Autocar today a two page spread on the APX and how it is similar to the new Esprit. The new Esprit will have the same basic chassis VVA (Variable Vehicle Architecture) that Lotus are developing. this can be used for a 4x4 or a 2 seater.

What amuses me is the advertising for cell phones dont mention the fact you can use them to make telephone calls, just what sort of camera it has what games you can play how many silly tones you can have etc etc ban them i say along with, cigarettes, children and beer, well maybe not beer

Thanks to all those who turned up today and we missed those who could not make it. some nice comments about the cars in the meet carpark from a group of small boys in a football team, one of the dads was building a replica GT40 and had a speedboat with a lotus engine. we had a short drive to a little chef and did some planning for Donnington and Oxford convoys and a meet in May. details to follow soon Howard

The picture of one in blue looks (in my opinion) a lot better! I agree too many are quick to condem with out seeing or driving....... Lotus are looking for a gap in the market, and trying to fill it...nothing wrong with that, hell some people even drive Metros

The yellow one (M200) is sat in Paul Matty Sportscars showroom in Bromsgrove, it does look like a power boat. It was at Donnington last year, on someones stand, cant remember whos, but it was lent to them by Paul Matty.
