  1. Sure, we can certainly take a look at it for you. Please try Bill at our Service Centre, so that he can do some research with our technicians.
  2. Quite right, and now that Harry has also bought himself a good Esprit, the pro-Lotus stance of our best journalists might continue. We will certainly need them all on-side, once the next crop of Lotus cars is launched. The market is so competitive in just about every sector. Lotus cars with a unique story to tell, 'the first of ...', 'the last of ...', 'owned by an ex-F1 driver...' etc., and limited-number products are always going to hold real interest for collectors. The Porsche 997 series is to young to be called 'classic', or maybe even 'modern classic', but its interesting that 997 prices for good cars and low-production variants have stabilised, whereas the 991 series are continuing to depreciate. Those of us with long memories have seen this all before when the 996 series fell below 993 series levels. It's all about the public's perception of the model.
  3. Henry Catchpole was booked in by a PR company to review our classic cars and restorations. That is why he wasn't reviewing modern Lotus on his last visit. EVO magazine always seem very generous when reviewing Lotus Cars, so I wouldn't be too concerned about any bias there.

  5. Terrific day at the 75th Goodwood Members Meeting yesterday. All incarnations of Lotus cars in the car park, paddock and on track.
  6. I find the brakes extremely disappointing on these older Astons, and believe me, I am moving them or driving them regularly. It shows the fantastic progression of disc brakes and ceramic braking technology, which we've all become accustomed to.
  7. I'm afraid that I must admit that we are also guilty of some unorthodox advertising in past years...
  8. It's always the quality of the masking around the headlights that separates a professional spray job from the average.

  16. Yes, Paul Michaels has some very special cars in his collection. He has owned some of the worlds greatest cars, and has an incredible knowledge of most leading marques. The film showcases that very well.
  17. It's a little bit "show-offy", but you might enjoy this new Hexagon Classics film; look out for our Elite S2 SE in the shots.(The film is "out" today). http://www.mrporter.com/journal/the-classics/icons-of-the-open-road/668
  18. I am working on that one. A Seven S3 appeals...
  19. It made a pleasant change to spec it like this, compared to all the "Black Pack and Black Alloys" cars out there. A little more sophisticated-looking as an "urban" automatic too! PLUS it saved around £3500, which more than covered the auto gearbox option. It looks even better in the flesh, so hopefully there will be a few more like this.
  20. If we have our new Evora 400 in time for the September meet at The Ace, it'll be our pleasure to drive it there!
