380 Cup Service Schedule and Costs ๐ณโโโโโโโ

Are they plastic flaps? -
Had this on my Cup 250, the 048โs through up so many stones. Itโs like a little channel between the clam parts from the wheel well. I used a tywrap to push the stones back while tapping the panel by hand. If they are sticky with tar a little WD40 will loosen then. A bit of tape or blob of RTV at the wheel well stops it.

Clearing stored error codes with OBD reader

Have you had a good look round the ignition system? Could be a simple fix and the fault will clear. Have cleared faults without issue before using a Bluetooth OBD reader but donโt know what the paragraph is on about. Having said that I never read the instructions. Googled it, https://www.obdautodoctor.com/scantool-garage/obd-readiness-monitors-explained -
Hi Mik, I have a single skin garage that is plaster boarded inside and the walls leak slightly. The Scottish West coast climate is not ideal. Over the years have tried a carcoon with heater , a dehumidifier but still had condensation issues and a wet car wouldnโt dry. Was advised to improve ventilation so I put a vent at the back of the garage and now have a flow of air as the door has gaps in it. The better ventilation improved things drastically so no longer have problems , though I am not driving my car this winter. I pine for a heated garage directly connected to my house.

Sticky/dodgy door push
Alan H replied to a topic in Interior/Exterior/Lights/Glass/Alarms/ICE/HVAC/Other
Yes. Mine was replaced under warranty and I was told it was a common fault. It was sticking in. It started after the car got wet. When they change it make sure they don't mess up the clips that hold on the door card as it will not be tight against the door and it will annoy you. -
removing the lower grill covers.

On the later cars , mine is a 2018 there are four torx screws on each grill accesible from the front. However there are plastic retaining washers to keep the screws in place I assume. If you unscrew too much they fall off and drop into the clam. ( After balancing in sight until you touch them. ) You have to take the splitter off to recover them if you want to. Was cleaning some awful smelling dead stuff off my car for winter. -
All better. ๐๐๐

Excellent hope you enjoy the car. Jayemms videoโs were very enjoyable. You are going to have to steer properly to stop my inner driving instructor going mental. ๐๐๐

This is so true. I came from a Evora via a Cup 250 which handled great but the engine lacked character and drive. You will miss the V6.

Hard top re-installation
Alan H replied to Lo2zz's topic in Interior/Exterior/Lights/Glass/Alarms/ICE/HVAC/Other
My Cup 250 roof stopped making a noise when I tightened the bolts evenly rather than one at a time. A little shoogle between tightening appeared to seat it well. -
I had Gtechniq applied to my Exige and am impressed with it as it makes cleaning the car so much easier. Despite my best efforts I still get swirls which is really annoying. Probably the biggest difference and majority of the cost of the process was getting the car machine polished as the paint from the factory was really poor. Having ceramic coating on the wheels and windows is really evident means dirt doesnโt stick. Waxing after the polish would give the same results.
