  1. Assume something like this: Never knew they existed.
  2. Can you attach a battery charger to power the car in the forward service hatch? Or is that just earlier s2's etc?
  3. Yes. Well that’s the only explanation I could come up with for how the big stones got in there.😊
  4. Had this on my Cup 250, the 048’s through up so many stones. It’s like a little channel between the clam parts from the wheel well. I used a tywrap to push the stones back while tapping the panel by hand. If they are sticky with tar a little WD40 will loosen then. A bit of tape or blob of RTV at the wheel well stops it.
  5. Have you had a good look round the ignition system? Could be a simple fix and the fault will clear. Have cleared faults without issue before using a Bluetooth OBD reader but don’t know what the paragraph is on about. Having said that I never read the instructions. Googled it,
  6. Hi Mik, I have a single skin garage that is plaster boarded inside and the walls leak slightly. The Scottish West coast climate is not ideal. Over the years have tried a carcoon with heater , a dehumidifier but still had condensation issues and a wet car wouldn’t dry. Was advised to improve ventilation so I put a vent at the back of the garage and now have a flow of air as the door has gaps in it. The better ventilation improved things drastically so no longer have problems , though I am not driving my car this winter. I pine for a heated garage directly connected to my house.
  7. Yes. Mine was replaced under warranty and I was told it was a common fault. It was sticking in. It started after the car got wet. When they change it make sure they don't mess up the clips that hold on the door card as it will not be tight against the door and it will annoy you.
  8. On the later cars , mine is a 2018 there are four torx screws on each grill accesible from the front. However there are plastic retaining washers to keep the screws in place I assume. If you unscrew too much they fall off and drop into the clam. ( After balancing in sight until you touch them. ) You have to take the splitter off to recover them if you want to. Was cleaning some awful smelling dead stuff off my car for winter.
  9. Excellent hope you enjoy the car. Jayemms video’s were very enjoyable. You are going to have to steer properly to stop my inner driving instructor going mental. 😊😊😊
  10. This is so true. I came from a Evora via a Cup 250 which handled great but the engine lacked character and drive. You will miss the V6.
  11. My Cup 250 roof stopped making a noise when I tightened the bolts evenly rather than one at a time. A little shoogle between tightening appeared to seat it well.
  12. I had Gtechniq applied to my Exige and am impressed with it as it makes cleaning the car so much easier. Despite my best efforts I still get swirls which is really annoying. Probably the biggest difference and majority of the cost of the process was getting the car machine polished as the paint from the factory was really poor. Having ceramic coating on the wheels and windows is really evident means dirt doesn’t stick. Waxing after the polish would give the same results.
  13. Reply from Michelin: "Regarding your query, for the availability of the MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup2. MICHELIN still produce the Pilot Sport Cup2. The tyre size 265/35 R18 that you are looking for is available in our system, but it may mean you checking a few dealers, as we do not have access to the dealers stock. I have contacted our warehouse to find out if we have any Pilot Sport Cup 2 in stock, and they do, so they could be ordered through your local certified MICHELIN dealer." Edit: I thought my Car had Cup2's but now realise it has the PS4's. Oops.
  14. I have emailed Michelin and will let you know what they say.
  15. Needed a phone mount in a hurry on Monday. Looped some Velcro through the air vent, wrapped some round the phone case and stuck together. Surprisingly worked really well with the modification of a elastic band to keep the phone cover open. Waze was good for a free app.
  16. My car has one bump stop Cup , rear left that moves up and down by hand. Other one is firm. Car has only done 1000 miles so would say it’s normal. Should add the bump stop rubber keeps it held up in place.
  17. My blip is consistent other than when the anti two pedal press mode sometimes kicks in and it cuts the revs. ( Not sure of correct term). I have not worked out what I am doing differently, is rate of deceleration monitored by the ECU? My car is a 2018 so would imagine it has the latest software.
