  1. Thanks to Dave & Megan for a lovely morning, great food and a fab location. Great selection of new and old cars. Some pictures included but can’t load up video, probably to long showing all cars Stephen & Kim
  2. Hi @Kevjp, we are coming in from Hertford and can meet at Pearces Farm lay-by for 8:30. If anything changes just post, will keep an eye out. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
  3. @Mark030358 made me smile Great to have car back, The Dash and Camera both from Dave at S/Lotus is even better than I had hope for.Just need to adjust camera slightly but works perfectly. The binnacle is finished the same as the OEM version. It photos lighter than viewing with the naked eye. Most people wouldn't even notice that you have changed anything. The Komotec upgrade has definitely given the car some serious get up and go for an Elise. Overall very happy with the upgrades.
  4. Give Dave at Seriously lotus a call, just touch on this subject, Given your road/track split, he would have some good solid advise and options available within the Nitron ranges you mention.
  5. @Mark030358Thanks for info, Dash project just got a little bit dearer as current Mac can't support //s. Now speccing a new Mac. Collecting car tomorrow from H111, New Dash & camera plus Komotec upgrade Thanks
  6. @Mark030358bit of help required. Noticed that your using Mac for the Race Studio downloads/updates. Just purchased the dash but my current Mac don't have Windows loaded. I understand I need Parallel, did you load Windows 10 during the same process or after? Grateful for any guidance. Stephen
  7. Count us in, will be lovely to see you all, ChrisJ Me and Schumacher Sparkles (dammit, they've got me saying it now) NigelM Senior internets Pete Stephen & Kim
  8. Sorry guys & girls, currently without car , not sure if we will have it back for this meet. so concentrating on work , ready to pay the bill . S&K
  9. Thanks for that , will be an interesting read ,it is a more serious upgrade with a totally new ecu , which is the only way the tuners are dealing properly with the 250 cup. There are a number of 250cup owners on the Facebook site that have had the the full exhaust systemS and have had mil lights on due to emissions codes and fuelling issues.
  10. The 250 cup model doesn’t seem to be as easy to retune as the original cup 220 & the normal model Elise with the 2zr engines. The ecu is the issue, I believe it’s the encryption Stopping total access, Komotec kits direct or via H111 are not listing the 250 model , You mention RRR they use the Ecumaster Ecu to great affect However so does Komotec and H111 , the only thing to remember is the ecu will have a different traction control system to the original, this may not bother some people , but it depends on what the car is for road/ Track From my experience it’s best to use
  11. Unfortunately it’s totally different and the parts required are not cheap, couple of the the exige v6 guys have updated to the exposed shifter , they had the work done at HPE I believe.
  12. So sorry to hear of your loss Chris, Stephen & Kim
  13. Got the same issue as you at the moment . Coolant level dropped to the same level as you stated and is never the same now; can be higher / lower by 1cm . Going back to H111 this Friday for the safety recall plus this to be fixed. This is the first time in probably 8 coolant changes I have seen this happen so it can be sorted. It’s not just a case of topping up as soon as pressure rises in the system it is ejected out via the black pipe , indicator there is air trapped.
  14. 2 seats at the table for us please Pete, sorry for the late reply.
  15. Oh joy , stinking cold /sore throat has arrived to ruin my weekend plans, if by a miracle tomorrow morning I feel a lot better , we will attend and enjoy your company & breakfast. Stephen
  16. Just to clarify some points on your original post, the Komotec Upgrades phase 2&3 are complete kits with altered files reflashed via the OBD port to the original Ecu plus hardware. They are the only changes ,everything else stays as OEM. Ie traction / stability control, idle etc. The only other option is a replacement ecu and new mapping and the hardware to complete, this would move you much further away from your stated goal, if you are tracking seriously all be it a limited number each year , I would agree with the above 220/250 cup or exige however if

  18. Sorry for the late reply, only me again for Breakfast , Kim on Xmas duties .
  19. Did wonder if the height of the driver would become an issue , We have visited RRR and Robert gave us a good demonstration of what is possible , I will be really interested to see the bespoke binnacle design , please post any updates, Our issue is we cannot see hardly any of the tell tale screen in the sun with roof off , and more importantly the warning signs . We probably have the opposite issue to you as the steering wheel boss effects our view into the display. If we go down this route the layout will be totally different to what we have now, and the beauty of this das
  20. How are you getting on with the new setup i believe yours is the one on RRR Facebook page , showing it working with the cowlings adjustments, What it like if you have managed to find some sun on your drives out. thanks
  21. Hi Chris Should make it there for 9 Kim staying in bed. Just got home from the theatre.
  22. Our 2015 C/Racer S was very quiet and only started to sound the part right at the top end, Fitted 2bular 8'' H1 and that certainly gave it a voice to go with the looks , however if you are going to use motorways etc for long periods of time I would stick with the factory item. Enjoyed two days at hethel last week , using three different Elises , two with new exhaust & open shifter and one pre 2017 quieter back box & closed shifter. The newer cars sound really good but are still quieter than mine, Regarding the TRD in our car you definitely hear more of the superc
