  3. On point 2, I had this too and it took a couple of attempts before it sorted itself out and is working fine now. Btw, here’s a pic of the AIM with OEM binnacle Installed in my 350.
  4. Exactly this! maybe it’s some kind of aero feature! after 3 fuses, thought I had it fixed. After replacing a fuse and the wiper returning to home position, I lifted the blade and gave it a wiggle. Worked fine for ages on intermittent and a quick wash pull, but as soon as put it on normal speed it stopped.
  5. thanks. Yes, Silverstone reacted promptly and told me which fuse to swap and so I went out and bought some new ones. Tried two new fuses. It wipes a couple of times and then stops half way. I then have to manually push the wiper over to the drivers side, it won't go back to the passenger side until i swap the fuse again. It had been working fine and I can'r see anything obstructing it to cause the motor to jam and blow the fuse.
  6. Hi Guys - First problem with my new car, i put wipers on and then pulled the stalk to wash wipe, the water came out and then the wiper stuck at 90 degrees facing up. I had to manually move the wiper out of the way and its very stiff. Neither the the wipe nor wash function works at all now, no water comes out either. Has anyone had this before or has a suggestion? thanks Mark

Has anyone received their lotus OEM version? i saw one today at a dealer in a nice green OEM lotus box, I swear it didn’t have the ugly shiney binnacle and looked more like standard lotus smooth plastic. i was in a hurry so didn’t have the presence of mind to take pictures, I’ll ask the dealer to take some on Monday.
  12. Well , i just order my 350 on saturday using 50/50. Stock car not an anniversary edition. I was soooo close to going with a 410 on 50/50 but the wife talked me down saturday morning by opening the curtains and showing how hard it was [email protected] down and saying are you really going to use all that on the road in our weather! 50/50 would mean a 410 would be roughly 41k ish now and nothing for 2 years. A 350 would be roughly 32k now and nothing for 2 years.
  13. Those new 410 specials with the options thrown in do look a lot better value than what the current stock of new 410s are going for , and that's still at list price...... Someone has to buy one so we can see some pictures, might as well be you. Go on take one for the team
  14. Hmm, who told you that?? The three dealers I'm speaking to right now seem to differ - unless its only on certain stock that's been kicking around a while.

  16. Thanks guys for sharing your thoughts. I'm going to take another test drive of a GT410 sport to help solidify my thinking, whilst it is the more obvious choice there is a devil on my shoulder saying "open top exige, you know you want to.."! Also this is just a stop gap until the new range of Lotus' hit the market and the first wave of early adopters iron out the kinks. I appreciate the comments on being able to get in/out , although I am over half a century now, I've had an easy life and so it's not an issue for me although as I approach my mid-late 50s I'm sure that will change.

Hi guys, i’m dithering over replacing my 400 ips with a 2019 GT410 sport manual or a brand new Exige 350 with Added soft-top conversion. the sensible choice is to keep my 3 year old car a bit longer but I really feel like a bit of a change and was going for an alpine but uncertainty over the brand and future support has led me to stick with lotus. financially there’s not much in it between a 2019 GT410 sport with low miles and a discounted 350 on the 50/50 deal. I’ve test driven both And now really torn between the every day usability and carbon bling of the evora or the more
  18. which ariel did you get and where did you put it? I've found it to be pretty rubbish to be honest , and have good DAB reception in my area.
