  1. This problem has frustrated me in the 12 months that I have owned the car. My solution was just to get whatever the known brands were out there and test them one by one, both LEDs and the known strong halogens. After purchasing 5 different sets, this, by FAR was the best: https://www.amazon.com/HIKARI-Headlight-Conversion-9600lm-Warranty/dp/B01LCE1AY2 I didn't do the install myself so I can't really help there, but we didn't experience any problems mouting them.
  2. I am seriously considering getting this kit as well now. Is this kind of power safe for both the engine and the gearbox particularly if you plan on keeping the car for several years to come and regularly tracking it maybe at least 4-5x per year?
  3. They just notified me that they just finished my rims today. Couple of more weeks to get it shipped to me though! Chose the RS31 in 17X8 et 25 and 18x10 et35 as well, but in brushed black.
  4. I just ordered the RS31s in 17x8 and 18x10, but with the offsets of +25 and +35 respectively. Will that be an issue?
  5. What oil are you guys using? I recently changed mine to Motul 300.
  6. Got the 54L tank after I read the feedback here. Had the dealer do this for me recently, and they charged me the equivalent of 4.5 man hours and they were nice enough to waive the charge for having outside equipment installed. Paid under $200
  7. Wandering around town during the holidays, hence the empty streets.
  8. Do you have any pics of the light throw? I put on LEDs on mine and I was incredibly disappointed Would it be too much draw if I got a 55w HID kit?
  9. Wow that IS pretty loud. Thanks for sharing the pictures as well. I live in a tropical country myself, but our temps are not as high as yours, maybe 35-38 deg C average. I did hear of this version but it's my first time to actually see it.
  10. Yes that's his son's. He's getting closer to beating the track record of where we were with the V6 cup. He already did better than the 2nd best time which was from a GT3RS driven by a pro. The only guy to do better than him is another International Pro with a full blown Ferrari 458 challenge car. He's about 2 secs away and judging from his in car laps he still has a lot of areas where he can improve.
  11. Had a great time, the Cup 2s are amazing tires. Did about 14 laps in total. I actually still have another set that I bought, NT-01s so I'll be trying those out too, but I would be surprised if it topped these.
  12. I went to the track over the weekend. Since I obliterated my Corsas already, I bought two sets to compare, NT-01s and Cup 2's, with me fitting the latter first. I was incredibly happy with it, grip and progressiveness is so much better than the Corsas, and the operating window seems to be much larger. I will try to be back at the track in a couple of weeks to test out the NT-01s. My friend on the other hand with a V6 cup brought R888s and Hoosier slicks. You can guess which one he preferred! His laptimes dropped 4.7s with the slicks
  13. A bit OT, but I went to the track over the weekend. Since I obliterated my Corsas already, I bought two sets to compare, NT-01s and Cup 2's, with me fitting the latter first. 14. I had this problem after 2 months of ownership as well. They switched out my throttle body and everything has been rosy every since. Tell them to try this. Best of luck to you guys, I know it's a very frustrating issue.
  15. Nano, isn't anything better than our OEM horn? But seriously, way better than it and I if I got a new car I would change it again. It's is much louder and the sound is "meatier." With the stock horn you still are at a high risk of a bus or another vehicle not hearing it at all. Doesn't suit the personality of the car too
  16. Truth be told, it was my first time to see how they were mounted when I took the pics for you guys. They mounted it that way most likely in consideration of rain as we do get a fair amount being in a tropical country, but you're right about them facing forward
  17. Hey guys, sorry for the late reply. My business partner has a car shop so he just sent some guys to do the install for me. As you can imagine it's quite straightforward. All they had to do was remove the front grille and mount it on the central post to which the tow hook is attached to as well. One of the must do upgrades given how tinny our OEM horn is
  18. Hi Olivier, I'm assuming what you gave are the temps for cold temps for normal driving. Would you know what it is for track days? I just recently switched to the Cup 2's last week and I'm going to a track day this Saturday so I'd like to know as well
  19. Are you serious? My dealer is giving me a great price then! That's what they quoted me and that's landed cost, all the way here in the Philippines! They quoted me GBP 4,500 for the "Carbon Exterior Pack" which is the hard top, front access panel and louvered tailgate. Seems even cheaper since they charge us GBP135k for the car!
  20. I'm not sure of the individual price, but the rear diffuser is part of the Carbon Aero Pack which includes the front splitter, rear wing, and the rear diffuser for about GBP2.5k.
