Hi I have a problem with my drivers window on my 2011 Evora, its simple! it doesn't operate, Things i have tried, checked fuses changed switch from passenger to drivers, switch ok, the window drops when door opens but will not go down. can anyone help? Thanks Johnny.

Hi Scott, thank you for email, i managed to get handle mechanism out to find the carriage had a slight twist in it which was preventing the cable pulling properly which then caused the clip to pop out of handle. All fixed now and working sweet, Thanks. Johnny

Hi I am having problems with my inside door handle, the cable keeps jumping out of the holder as it seems to have to much resistance to open using inside handle. Firstly has anyone had this same problem? Secondly i am trying to remove the door mechanism but can't get it out, any ideas? thanks in advance. Johnny

Let's not forget why we all own Lotus cars, let's be serious for the money they cost the re-sale value and the performance they produce can you get better, this issue will resolve its self. As mentioned, yes closest Lotus Dealer is now Carlisle but I take this as still an option, it lets you drive your car and possibly make an event of it. We Have Craig Moncrieff who has great Knowledge of Lotus engineering. Since I bought mine I have had The Lotus Dealers stamp in the service Book, in Scotland Craig is so well known and services more Lotus cars than Leven did.

Hi Mark, So It was you, i didn't have a clue who it was, that's the top road to Mossmoran just outside Auchtertool church, nice view of Camila loch from there to. All the guys seem to be doing their own thing now. Jim Love is having some events, but not near as many as past years. Let me know when you get your esprit on the road again. Hi James I hate to be the bearer of bad news but my 2011 Evora S is in at Leven Lotus for exactly the same thing, unfortunately for me it is the clutch, my one had exactly the same symptoms, Mines has only done 25,000 miles not sure what yours has done. The big problem is Lotus don't have spares, mines has been of the road now for six weeks. Major Job, Whole back end off. Please let me know how you get on. Johnny
