  1. Hi Gavin I have the same problem and my GT410 sport is going back to Chris Neils Thursday to try and fix again . Drivers footwell gets soaked and just about under warranty . Paul at CN,S thinks it may be leaking at bulkhead . Only problem Lotus will not guarantee they will cover this if it's not leaking there so I've been forced to agree to stump the £660 cost for clam off and back on if Lotus won't pay .Hoping Paul can work his magic and get it sorted . I saw your car there a few weeks ago Gavin still looks mega.
  2. The noise now seems to have gone away , just had MOT and service at Lotus dealer and it did not highlight any problems . Maybe wait for something to fall off ha ha
  3. It works yehhhhhhhh , finally got around to fitting the aerial splitter the best £10 I've ever spent . Now do I tell the dealer about this fix ha ha . Im there next week for a service and they wanted £500
  4. Ordered one of those DAB aerial splitter things a guy tried £10 gotta be worth a punt it works for him on one of the forums. How does the head unit come out? Just so I don't destroy it ha ha
  5. My Evora GT410 has the Alpine INE W710D head unit fitted and the DAB radio will not work . Spoke to a dealer and apparently Lotus did not fit a DAB aerial as standard and my local Lotus dealer has quoted just under £500 to fit one . Has anyone retro fitted the aerial themselves and what is involved , best aerial to use etc etc Thanks
  6. I seem to have same problem just found soaking wet drivers floor mats ( GT410 Sport ) Will have to try this solution when I can be arsed ha ha
  7. Out driving and I turned into a junction with a big camber change in road . There was a noise from drivers side front wheel suspension area sounding like a spring had snapped. It did this again when I reversed into my drive again camber change as my drive slopes down. I jacked up car took wheel off to check wishbones , bushes , shock , spring etc and it all looks good. When I put wheel back on car and lowered car off jack it made the noise again. Does not make the noise when turning wheel lock to lock very strange. Are there any known issues out there with Evora front suspension this is my 2 nd Evora and not had this problem before . Any idea,s thanks everyone
  8. Hi all got a GT410 sport 2+0 that I will be using to travel to airport for several ski trips now my previous Evora a 2+2 I could wind my passenger seat right back and get my 2 metre ski bag in from footwell to rear area with suitcase on rear seats. The 2+0 car I have now has a fixed cargo net in the rear which looks a pain to remove and stops passenger seat winding right back so I’m thinking solution is take passenger seat out . Anyone done this and is it just 4 no bolts to remove seat and frame and elec connectors for heated seats? I’m hoping it is this easy and No I’m not strapping ski,s to the roof ha ha aka James Bond style.
  9. Thanks all I did it with a small foam roller in the end and looks great hope it lasts ha ha
  10. Has anyone refreshed the upper mesh grills on a front clam of a Evora GT410 , mine had started to have there paint peel away a bit and the dealer I bought from touched them in with some paint which has now faded so looks bad. I know to remove these its clam off job which I have done on previous Evora but not so keen to do on this one (only 3 years old etc ) Anyone recommend a paint type colour code etc even if I touch in myself for now thanks all.
  11. Bob love this thread I had a 2011N/A and replaced air con rad and rad , wiper motor , door latches , Cold air intake , diffuser , etc etc and loved working on the car. Time and patience but I got there . Car now gone to a new home with 115 thou miles on her . Now have a GT410 having canceled a Emira order . Well done
  12. I replaced one a few years ago on my Evora 2011 the make was Cobra . COBRA / Vodafone REVERSING AID / PARKING SENSORS KIT R294 R0294 PARKMASTER NEW
  13. But today it failed again and now in the down position , had a 2 hour drive home in the rain with window down the girlfriend was not impressed . Gotta phone dealer in morning to see if we can get window regulator fixed replaced under warranty . Does anyone know if you can manually get the window back to the up position . I Know probably involves removing door card etc.
