  1. Does anyone have any info on the Lotus 410/430 chargecooled engine? Would be good to see a diagram of where all the bits are situated. Is there any update on the Simply Sports Cars charge cooled kit?
  2. Rockingham is just under 2 hours from Weybridge so wouldn’t be too much longer for you. Good track, not to everyone’s taste but it’s great for improving technical driving. It’s pretty cheap too!
  3. Also Booked, let’s hope the weather isn’t too hot.....
  4. You’ve never seen anything like it 🤣
  5. Will hopefully be there, weather looks to be holding!
  6. The ZZR is a great tyre, switched after the factory Corsa went and had many sets since. On a recent trip to Spa the first day was wet and cold and the tyre performed very well. The second day was dry and 26c which is where the ZZR shines. Although the price has increased recently so may well try the Cup 2’s next.
  7. Done 4 or 5 days there in the 350, no problem with sound. V6 and 350 are fine 380 and 430 not so much.

    TLF Trackday?

Definitely interested in a 105db day.
  9. Went for @Seriouslylotus front kit as one heat crack had reached the edge of the disc! As always prompt service from Dave. Super easy to fit, took me 10mins each side. Off to Spa on the 13th to give them a proper workout.
  10. Induction kit and a remap, with an aftermarket wing and you have a Cup 430 (or there abouts) for significantly less.
  11. Bell and Colvill tried to order two of them but Lotus made a few excuses then went silent.
  12. A lot of track people rate the Rainsport 3s. https://www.camskill.co.uk/m61b0s66p111668/Uniroyal_Tyres_Car_Uniroyal_RainSport3_Uniroyal_Rain_Sport_3_-_265_35_R18_97Y_XL_FR_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_C_Wet_Grip%3A_A_NoiseClass%3A_2_Noise%3A_73dB
  13. Nice footage, did both cars have passengers in?
  14. Sorry if it's a stupid question but has anyone considered the Komotec cooling package with the larger TVS1900 supercharger? I appreciate it would need a custom engine map as it is a blend of two add-ons.
  15. I have the 3-way Nitrons. It isn't too difficult to change the rears, just lie on the floor and stick your hand up. Does help if you have someone looking through the spokes to guide you.
  16. My order of track upgrades were as follows: Performance Friction 08 Pads - Toasted the first set of fronts quite quickly. Upgraded pads make a good difference on long days. Avon ZZR tyres all round - great tyre, loads of grip and relatively long life. Combined with the PF pads greatly reduce braking distance and increase turn in speed. Nitron 3-way dampers and full Geo - Transformed the car completely. Eltech rear carbon wing and carbon front splitter - Just got back from 3 days at Portimao and it has made a significant difference. Next step will be Seriously Lotus front disc upgrade as the current ones are dead, then TVS1900 for more power.
  17. Loaded up, next stop Portimao.
  18. Anyone know anything about this sad case? It’s parked in my flat car park at Battersea Park, London. The front is quite badly damaged and has loads of dust on it.
  19. I’ve always believed a roll cage was intended for side impacts, thus causing the car to roll. On a trackday this would(should) be highly unlikely.
  20. @mark248am If I remember correctly; hold down your finger on the back screen until a little box appears. That’s the area of the frame your camera will auto-expose to. You can move the box around to any area of the frame by dragging it around to just by taping on a different area. You have the option to tell your camera to lock the exposure or auto-expose to that spot based on how bright or dark it will get.
  21. @Arun_D Yep, it’s a right pain in the arse and you can only do it on the camera screen itself, not on the app. But when it’s working it’s excellent. And much cheaper than a Smartycam!
  22. I ended up ordering some nicely made carbon splitter rods from FTR in the US. After some top quality engineering (see. Complete trial and error guesswork) they are on! Really pleased with the result.
  23. @alias23 What made you ditch the Eltech wing for your new setup?
