Hi All looking at my first ever S1. Does this fixing look right? The bracket looks a little bowed to me, and not sure what the tape stuff is. its an S1 with S2 suspension upgrade I understand. Thanks in advance- not the most technical person!

Hi All. I’m looking to buy an S1 Elise but the car is located in the South of England, and I’ve never so much as sat in an Elise before. There’s only so many reviews and videos you can watch (I think I have completed YouTube). I’m wondering if there is a friendly Elise owner in the Aberdeen area who would let me sit in their car? I’m 6’4” so just want to be sure before paying a deposit. Ideally this weekend 29th/30th August.
