Any news on this issue? I had exactly the same symptoms on my former 111R 2ZZ, and am experiencing again exactly the same on my S3 1ZR 1.6 toyota engine. Must be a common known issue, no? Tried cleaning MAF, replacing MAF, cleaning throttle body, no real improvements...
