  1. Good day all Whilst this thread quite old, seems to be the best place to post something, though perhaps it could be covered elsewhere in which case apologies. After a good amount of research and previous postponed attempts to jump into Lotus ownership for one reason or another, I believe, finally its all systems go and seriously thinking Exige 380 Cup. They dont come up very often on Pistonheads it seems. A 'sky-blue' one was for sale recently and a modified silver version up for sale presently. I missed out on the blue one (congrats to the lucky owner), and the silver isnt really my cup of tea. Im due a test-drive in what Im going to call a 'wasp' coloured version this weekend, having already tried a 410 Cup Final Edition a couple of weeks ago so whilst obviously down to personal preference, I wont ask which people think is better but are there any 380 cup owners on here with any advice / things to watch for? Seeing how rare they are - the Lotus dealer selling the blue one recently suggested they were selling the last 380 Cup produced at 39 of 39 yet 60 were planned and 20 more for international market - has anyone set up a registration to actually see how many are out there and running? I think the V6 powered 380 will offer a lovely raw alternative to the V12 Vantage in the garage so quite excited to join the Lotus brand. Cheers

Evening all Like most cars, things appear to be appreciating currently but feel like its plateauing with more stock becoming available as people take advantage and things like the tough cost of living increases. For those still fortunate enough to be able to try and buy a 'toy' to help live life to the fullest what price would you put on 5-6yr old Exige S's now. Lets say fair mileage around 25k. What premium, if any, if a Limited Edition - since so many were done... In the market, toying with Exige S as above or going newer eg 390/410 Cup - test drive this week hoping to finally scratch a 10yr itch to own a Lotus... Any other pointers helpful. Cheers
  3. @yentl Hi, here is some info: Whizz Kids - Copthorne Open House - We were hoping to get Romesh along for the show as he Patron but sadly too busy a schedule. Friends of Copthorne - this is the charity supporting the school itself, raising funds for extra events for kids/parents to enjoy throughout the year. Feel free to give me a buzz if anything further needed. Thanks Gav 07308999764
  4. Hi all Lotus owners Quick intro. Im an Aston Martin V12 Vantage owner, almost a Lotus Elise Heritage Ed owner prior to that and sorely tempted by the new Emira. Personally, I think future is looking v exciting for Lotus. I have been exchanging messages with Bibs since June regarding a Charity Car show I am helping produce for Copthorne Prep School but I know he's super busy so posting this here to help restart the ball rolling. We are looking for perhaps 15-20 Lotus cars to be one of the main attendees at the show to accompany Astons/Lambos/Ferraris/Corvettes/Morgans plus many others to fill the school field with around 180-200 cars. First come / first served policy and then waiting list. Entrance is STRICTLY by pre-registration due to space. We have over 70 cars signed up across the various marques so far so best to register asap as getting around 2-3 a day now. [email protected] - there are further details below as to what to submit with the registration. Driver entry is free but appreciate any charitable donations on entry. Any plus1s are £5pp also payable on entry. So if the weather is shocking and the event is cancelled last minute you lose nothing. Flyer attached and details as follows (feel free to contact me any questions): --- Event: Copthorne Prep Charity Car Show Location: Copthorne Prep School Cricket pitch/extended field, RH10 (off Effingham Lane) When: 3rd Oct 2021 Time: Convoy participants to gather at selected hotels from 11am / non-convoy participants to arrive at the school from 11:30 via Effingham Lane. Field open to pupils/parents/guests from Noon and the event will run until 4pm Charities: Friends of Copthorne / Copthorne Open House / Whizz Kids Special Guest: BBCs "The Stig" from Top Gear. Cost: Drivers of display cars have free entry (though since a charitable event donations (£5+) would be much appreciated). Plus1s welcome @ £5pp. Payment likely to be on entry - cash preferable but working on a contactless system for the day and also a pre-pay service if anyone wishes to donate/pay upfront. The event hopes to host around 200 high end sports cars, exotics and classics all on the main school field with the purpose of giving the pupils and parents of the school a great afternoon out, giving club members the chance to meet up with fellow members and those from other clubs, giving some local businesses the chance to show/advertise their products and lastly but most importantly help generate funds for our 3 nominated charities.
