Website went live this morning: Lotus Driving Academy I am booked onto the Introduction To Sports Cars day on Saturday 25th June .

I have done around 30 track events (mixture of full days and evenings) in the two and a half years I have owned my Alpine A110. The A110 will not be going anywhere until I have had the chance to put a Emira through its paces out on track, where it will need to be as fun and engaging (in a variety of conditions) as the Alpine to remain in the garage!

Thanks for the welcome @ramjet. No I have not owned a Lotus yet. I looked into a Evora but ended up with a TVR Cerbera and also looked at a Elise S1 as a track orientated car but ended up in a Megane R26.R. I'm 6ft5 so the Elise was boarding on cramped! I'm hoping there will be enough head room in the Emira to accommodate me with the a helmet on! I'll head over to the Introductions area as well.

The A110 is indeed a fantastic car especially with a couple of small modifications (suspension / geo / wheels). I have been looked after extremely well by my local dealer as well. I really hope Lotus produce a amazing car with the Emira, it will need to be to outshine the Alpine. Look forward to hopefully meeting some of you at Goodwood. I will be there on the Friday.

Having placed a deposit on a Emira, I thought it was about time I signed up to TLF even though I may currently be seen as a imposter . I have also just signed up for the launch event. Looking forward to seeing the car during this online event and at Goodwood FoS.
