  1. Wants to test drive a "drivers car", first thing on his mind is CarPlay... *facepalm*
  2. And also @ FKM Antwerp 🙂 Dark Verdant! 🙂 https://www.facebook.com/groups/275013329905
  3. @Bee That's pretty decent! 🙂
  4. Still to early, I know, but something I haven't read about is the expected range you can get from a full gas tank. Or in other words: what will be the average consumption of the V6 and i4? Ok, true ... Everything depends on how heavy your foot is, but Lotus claims the Emira can be used as a daily driver, so I'm wondering how thirsty -especially the i4- will be when you are driving with a normal style in normal traffic. If you check out Spritmonitor with the MB (CL)A45, the fuel consumption they report is around 11 liters/ 100 km (=21,38 mpg). I wonder how accurate this is...
  5. Nimbus and Tan looks like a super combo! And it also looks like the Magma has the Ice interior. Very sharp!
  6. Hammond & Aston Martin & AMG-sound. Probably Lotus will do the same with the exhaust sound in the Emira... I mean: skip the pops & bangs and give it a proper soundtrack. 🙂 Also 4:06 = a little fanmail for Lotus!
  7. Great write up. 🙂 Any news when photos/videoclips will be available of the cars in all the colours?
  8. Dougs view on the Emira. Can't really say he doesn't have a point... I copy-pasted it where he starts talking about the Lotus.
  9. Also read a few complaints about wind noise with open windows for the Porsche Cayman. Seems there's some solution with little click on thingies on the side mirrors that cause a different wind flow, but no idea if this works or not. My BMW E89 Z4 has absolutely no issue at all. Twee windows down, four down... doesn't make a difference.
  10. A few days ago I went to the Emira launch in Belgium. Cosy showroom, it was crowdy but not 'too' many people... Everybody got multiple times the chance to sit in the car, to check all the details, to talk to the people from Lotus and so on. Some info I got -I didn't know this- that Geely also owns 10% of Mercedes-Benz and for that reason the collaboration between Lotus and AMG was not so surprising. The deal also stated that Lotus didn't only get the engines, but also a bunch of AMG engineers to work at the Lotus plant for the development of the mid engine architecture. The colour samples aren't very helpful to be honest. It's about time Lotus shows some other Emira's in different jackets.
  11. Must have overlooked it. Thanks! 🙂
  12. For the road show guys: Can someone take a picture of the tyre specs? Like: all the numbers on the sidewall of the tyre? Thank you 🙂
  13. - Are they going to offer any service plans (2-3-5 years?) or extended warranty programs? - Like you said: Estimated price for the Goodyears and Michelins. - The "actual" inches in wheel gap between wheels and arches. - How about the rumours for the future colours? What do they know? I'm probably too late now to ask this, no? 🙂
