  1. I had the same issue but with plenty of releasing oil and perseverance they eventually went. Have you tried letting them soak overnight?
  2. With the amount you say was all over the front of the car I think he needs to go to spec savers .
  3. I see it like this , if whoever spilled brake fluid without even attempting to clean it up, what sort of other workmanship do they not care about.
  4. But mistakes like this should not happen. What if it was something more serious causing major damage an accident or worse. You are more forgiving than I would be .
  5. As in a previous thread regarding self maintenance, this is exactly why I do my own servicing . I do not trust garages full stop ...
  6. I had a similar noise , changed anti roll bar bushes which although they looked fine must have been shot as noise gone once I changed them for poly bush bushes.
  7. Totally agree Bob being in the trade for many years I just don't trust garages to do the work to what I call my standard.
  8. Me too Bob , and I've always believed the money saved on dealer servicing over the year outweighs and money reduced on resale just because it has no dealer service history. My old Aston martin vantage dealer basic service with oil and filer change was over £600 REALLY .I document and keep all service part receipts for new owner.
  9. Thanks for the replies, yes I'm aware of the standard drl function ,I'm wanting to fit some aftermarket ones in the front outer air vents similar to these pictures, independent of the side/headlight. Thanks
  10. Thanks for the info , where did you purchase your Drls from ?
  11. I know a few people have fitted Drls to the early s1 Evora, could anyone tell me where exactly they picked up the live feed supply which comes on with the ignition. Thanks in advance.

    Red Esprit

Red Esprit in Mexborough, South Yorkshire, earlier today.
  13. I had the three 7mm nuts which hold the pillar trim come loose, have you tried them ?
  14. Just finished a good clean after run out.
  15. Am I right in thinking the brake calipers on a 2010 n/a Evora are AP calipers ? If so does anybody know the AP part number for the rear brake pad retaining pins which are slightly shorter than the fronts or if they are matched to another vehicle. I know they are available at the eliseshop but I was trying to source some locally . Thanks.
  16. Thanks for that, just made my supplier look like an idiot as they were trying to say C94 is alot more pink than B94.
  17. Reason I ask is I ordered a touch up kit using the code on my manufacturer plate which was C94 but the colour match is nowhere near ,infact it looks pink at side of car. I contacted supplier and they said it will be B94.
  18. Can anybody in the know please tell me the difference in the paint codes B94 and C94 For Ardent Red Thanks
  19. One of my previous cars BMW M4 had a heads up display in M mode which reflected you speed and rev counter on the screen avoiding the need keep looking down at the dash during spirited driving. My question is has anyone tried a stand alone one at all ,as I found it very useful in the BMW, also I presume my 2010 n/a Evora has an obd 2 port to plug in ??
  20. All the parts I found on ebay but I had to wait about 3 weeks for the maf tube as I could only sourse one from China.
  21. Cdco All the pipe work is 76mm internal diameter, the T piece is 76/76/25 although 20mm would be better with a further reducer to 15mm for the breather. The 76mm pipe work fits over the throttle body no problem. Cheers Neil.
