  1. I can't turn the key in the ignition. Tried the spare and while wiggling the steering wheel etc but no luck. Anyone else had this?
  2. Yep I removed the bolt and bent the shield away to mount the bracket, then bent it all back as much as I could and replaced the bolt
  3. Do you have any concerns that using the strap on any kind of angle (up/down, left/right) might foul on the grill and in turn put pressure on the diffuser finisher which in my case is carbon fibre. I'm picturing getting yanked out of the sand on an angle and cracking the back of the car
  4. I'm trying to do this right now with the nut plates and it's painful with restricted access. Did people trim the heat shield a bit to not foul on the passenger side bolt heads?
  5. Given the OEM dash has an updated UI, I'm interested to see if/how the track specific stuff (timings and delta etc) works. It would seem weird for them to accomodate the track stuff in the new UI if it was never intended to be used.

  8. Hi, I chose not to spec the radio as I wanted something different than the radio it comes with. In hindsight I probably should have just got one and replaced it. I'm now looking at installing a radio and am wondering if any additional parts are required. Interestingly, the car came with speakers (which I will upgrade) and wiring, but I'm unsure if it came with all the brackets required to mount the head unit. Taking off the blanking plate, I was expecting to find some kind of tunnel that the head unit slides into, but it seems like it's just a hole back there.
  9. After a bit more testing I think you're right - the lights are tuned for the sport rev limit and when in touring they kind of all come on together. I think they would really benefit from being able to be tuned per gear still. Even in sport, they come on in a hurry in the lower gears
  10. I don't remember what mode I was in actually. I'm only just past break in so will do some more testing
  11. Hi, It seems like the shift lights on my FE dash are lagging or similar. In second gear, none come on until right at the top of the rev range, then they all come on basically at once, flash and I'm bouncing on the limiter. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
  12. Do you now have access to stuff like customising the shift light rpms per gear etc?
