  2. Exige V6 Avon ZZR or any other tyre Does anyone have any experience with these for a v6 on the wet roads of the UK? Need something that is remotely capable in the wet as a Pirelli alternative. Many thanks

    just back from south of france.... usual crass display from the arabs and their golden wrapped phantom drop heads all on kuwait plates..... usual line up of LaFs, aventador SVs, 918s, Zonda Cinq (that was awesome) and the ones that begin with an H that i cant spell.... AMGS Ad nauseam... etc etc...even that 6 wheeler thingy... BUT i noticed something v interesting.... they seem to be getting bored with all their cousins having the same cars and are switching into poverty that yields exclusivity (i mean when every cousin mahmood has a LaF whats a 20 year old to do!!!!????)... 2 KTM X Bows getting probably more attention than the lot! the 3-11 could be a P&L beneficiary here for lotus (at the expense of the brand)... indecently out of everything, bar the Cinq i would take the 918 every time....

  5. These things are sought after so somewhere in North London but looked awesome in MG .... Nice owner too only 5 RHD and only one MG i believe.... So a really rare spot!!!

    talking odd colors, i saw some chaps exige s1 in nautilus blue .... it looked awesome and not just because it was my favorite lotus either! color really worked... bet that empire(ish) green works well too....

  10. i bribed him to jump the queue no seriously, having heard that video some time ago i placed an order way back ... never really brought it up on here as until its on there's not much to say or film.... will post up how well LoT do the install and a vid or two....
  11. that video i posted convinced me enough to have a the switchable 2bular system put on my v6, should be fitted tmrw....

    its not a conspiracy JP.... just an observation.... i would have had 3 different color (sedate to wild custom) Evora400s on the stand and used the 311 to get attention to those not had the 311 center piece. the 'uninitiated' will not give a crap about an evora mule. and its the uninitiated you need to sell it to. I would have had a mule evora400 'cup' cammoed up (just a stripped out 400- ceramics and lowered with carbon tat) sitting out there called concept (get out clause). onto the exige. that was a new signature orange but tucked away inside.... a lovely color you couldn't see because the silly crate inside the small stand blocked out all natural light. very frustrating as we all want them to do well but ...... the ultra low volume 311 (a track car) stole everything else s thunder (and its PR was specifically designed to do so) .... v odd behavior! i think the 311 is fantastic but its the elige and evora sales volume that will make the real p&l. so whats the game plan?

    good news. but interesting priority's here. have they already written off the evora400 before its press actual launch ? a dirty evora mule at GFoS (which i believe is now 'the' place to convert into sales as opposed to traditional car shows) and all eyes on a newer ultra low volume product all press reports on a SUV due 2019 and JMG doing a DB and promising more and more new products very soon. they are either total geniuses or completely stupid. only time will tell.....
  14. its alright for you lot in the sticks... you don't get speed humps and can just milk a random cow when thirsty. us urban types get 'everything' in a processed package lol. seriously though, the soya stuff isn't that bad (even in coffee), just seems a logical way to keep animal fats out and the other stuff previously mentioned. was just hoping for some experienced feedback.... had an enormous rare T Bone from this lot http://www.northfieldfarm.com/last night so its all about finding a balance lol

  17. CB, nothing will change the laws of physics that said rain or shine my experience is you have to be a heavy handed oaf to spin it in sport mode .....

    wasn't the 2-11 far closer to its originating derivative than the 3-11 which is basically a completely new car? ie its going to be expensive unless they carry over everything to say the new exige and it therefore basically becomes a development platform for it? agree that if you want 3k plus volume a year it the evora and elige that will get you to those numbers (eventually)..... Can anyone confirm the wheelbase of the 3-11? is it actually the same as the current v6 exige or longer?

    its an interesting question..... i think the exige is due a face lift 2016? how the hell you shoe horn doors into the complex sides of the 3-11 is going to be tough ask BUT they should try as it looks like an expensive bit of kit like that....its also v modern styling and areo without being silly and modern is precisely where lotus should be. the sides and back end are really very, very good imho.... the cheap plastic side-pods, dash, quality of plastics etc is going to be a limiting factor in upping the ticket price on the existing exige v6 and selling in size. they recognized this on the evora i assume they therefore they recognize this on the exige. the 3-11with a swooping roof it will look even more valuable, aggressive and accessible. the styling continues the departure away from the long lotus trend pre v6 exige. there is no shrink wrapping here, no rounded lines just as many straight lines as possible blended / balanced in that specifically accentuate size and presence .... not hide it..... i jumped from s1 elises, exiges to the v6 exige because for me the v6 wasnt just an elise coupe package with a wing (but does have a completely useless wing lol ). i saw the exige v6 as a mule, its change in styling philosophy, the big lump in the back and ordered one immediately. its price level was another category and there were risks with the company. but lots of others did the same thing too which shows there's really strong appetite for the right product ... its been a great success and has to a certain extent put the co back on the map. the the product needs to keep moving on.... if i could get that 3-11 with a roof, wipers, a/c and a radio i would order it today. bet im not the only person globally thinking that either... i certainly know JP and i would rolling around tussling on the B&C forecourt over who would get theirs first )) surely a good thing for lotus ? gt4 ? don't make laugh ! marque comparisons to this exige would start with an M or an F not P or Zzzzzz ...
