Peter, My sincere condolences... Just remember the good times. That will make your father happy up there... I know its tough and numbing, but embrace your family and friends in your time of need. Your in my thoughts, Peter.

I haven't fit them yet. You do need to miter them yourself. I hope I ordered the correct ones?
If I were in the market for a drag racer, I'd buy it! Think about it.... a LOTUS doing a 9 second quarter mile! That is a feat! No real Lotus Esprit can do a 9 second run! It is very well thought out and very well engineered. Granted he placed a rear bumper on the front but he did do a good job blending it in. It's a tube chassis with Lotus panels bolted to it. Its not really a Lotus as is any drag racing caring car... they are all tube chassis with plastic panels draped over them. There is nothing sacrilegious about it!
Just my 2Cents...
Contact Ray at RD Enterprises 01-215-538-9323 he sent the last one he had to me and I posted it to John. It was $56 with shipping to me then another few dollars to John... Extremely expensive for a gasket that doesn't really fit. I'm sorry John, I was hoping you wouldn't have much trouble....
Does look like a fun time. We had salt trucks out this week, so its sleep time for my Esprit until March.... Looks like beautiful weather in NC. Wish I was there!
oh no!!! Not that piece of crap again.... I'm not one for torching Esprits but, this one needs to be burnt to the ground! Sacrilege what they did to that Esprit!
Have you replaced all the Engine cooling hoses? JAE has a great silicone set that is a little cheaper than OEM. I would go ahead and replace all rubber hoses throughout the car. Check your petrol tank evap lines. They are probably rotten as well.
So sad to see her go... It's a friend's Esprit. I can personally vouch that this is a great car that needs nothing.. Stupid cheap price! The market has really hit hard...
Price is way low.... I would suspect a scam. Notice there is no other information other than serial number which is clearly visible on the front windscreen. Any person could snap those pics and place an ad. SCAM!
Personally, I stay away from this deal...
"If the price is too good to be true it probably isn't"
Yes the Kit by itself is $80. Jeff recommended replacing all the outboard stuff as well. pinion, gaiters, and so on.. It totaled $156. When I get home I'll list what all was included.
After checking my receipt the entire kit was $156.00 without ends. I didn't know it didn't include the track ends so I'm not sure if I got a good deal... Whats the point of rebuilding the rack if you don't replace the ends?
