  1. Hi Doug,

For your PC the licence key is 155620.

    Regards,

    Peter.

  2. Hi Holger, Please PM or Email me the list of files that could not be copied. Have you got Vista installed on you laptop? Gruss, Peter.
  3. Hi Mike, Thanks for the update. I didn't know the show was on this weekend until Mark posted. Wasn't the show later in the year previously? Rehards, Peter.
  4. Hi David, Just to clarify some issues, my tool displays all available sensors from the V8 Esprit. You can also select up to 6 specific sensors out of all available sensors via a drop down list, allowing you to focus on those sensors you are really interested in. All sensor values read can be logged and saved as a CSV file that allows you to import into Excel and view in all the options Microsoft supplies in Excel. I even have a O2 sensor graph mode that allows you to select up to 4 of the O2 sensors to be displayed. There is currently a beta release of my software that I have shared with a couple of users (received no feedback yet) that allows all the V8 relay systems to be activated (fans, fuel pumps, A/C, Recirculation pump, Engine light, overheat/low water light, etc.) and allows all the varies systems to be reset. My aim is to make this free tool the most comprehensive for V8 users. I have used the Gendan software and its a nice package. I haven't used ScanXL so can't comment on it. If you do go the ScanXL route, then please feedback on how you get on with it. If you buy the Gendan, then the interface that comes with it is compatible with my software, so just download it and then you have the best of both worlds. Regards, Peter.
  5. What time are people planning to get to the venue? According to the website the event starts at 11:00. Regards, Peter.

  7. Hopefully I'll be able to make this one. Would be good to catch up. Regards, Peter.
  8. Hi Mike, I for one would like to see the Exige 265 video. In regard to Jen's chat on the parade lap. Just imagine how much she talks when not preoccupied by going round a race track. Thanks for the 3 track sessions as a passenger. Much appreciated. Regards, Peter.
  9. Hi Jeremy, What sensors can't you access? Regards, Peter.
  10. Did Stirling Moss ever drive for Team Lotus? I think he drove a Lotus car (Type 18 & 21) for the Rob Walker Racing Team.
  11. Tony Shute (Evora Program Manager) confirmed to me that the Evora ECU was done by EFI. What I don't know is if they have done the mapping into the Toyota ECU, or if they use their own ECU. I'd guess at the later. Regards, Peter.
  12. I should have posted that the quote was in the "The V8 has Arrived" section of the book and was specifically about the US V8 version. My interpretation of that section is that the European V8s had the Sport 300/S4s body mounted wing and the Americans got the S4 tailgate mounted wing. The book may be incorrect.
  13. According to "Lotus Esprit - The Official Story" by Jeremy Walton (Page 165, 3rd column): "Incidentally the European V8 utilised the later S4S rear wing that was supported on the body, whilst the American took the earlier S4 tailgate mounted device."
  14. Hi Paul, Interesting post. Thanks. I'm looking forward to the updates. Regards, Peter.
  15. Hi Mark, Thanks for the update. As I have Marcus' Red Race ECU am looking forward to your AFR findings with charge coolers. Regards, Peter.
  16. For details about the varies chips I'd contact Marcus Freudhoffer (www.pukesprit.de), who is the guy who 'makes' the chips. I think chip '0' is a copy of the Sport 350 code Mike referred to. There is also a guy in the USA called Johan, who has similar products to Marcus'. I can't comment on who's chip solution is better, as I've only ever used Marcus' chips. As Mike said try searching the forum as the chips have been discussed many times. If you do go for a higher boost solution, then you may have to change your wastegates. Some standard ones will not hold standard max boost (0.75bar) yet alone increased boost. Regards, Peter.
  17. Happy Birthday. Have a great day. Regards, Peter.
  18. Will chipping the car effect the Lotus warranty?
  19. Hi Steve, Well done. If possible, can you please give us some feedback on the Yellow Stuff when they are run in. I currently run Red Stuff and was thinking that I might go to Yellow Stuff next time I change. Regards, Peter.
  20. And when you get fed up with the smell of rancid milk, have a Porsche owning friend with IBS do his business in the car for you - Hey presto, no overriding smell of sour milk. PS: Note to self. Submit this thread to VIZ magazine.
  21. Its a shame they didn't put both cars round the Hethel track and time them (or use historic timings)? Without hard data the article is a bit subjective. The magazine also states that the Sport 300 has max. torque of 300lb/ft, other magazine reviews list it as 287lb/ft.
