  1. You could always buy my S4, but it is in Australia. 🛫🛬🚢🛫🛬?
  2. Get up there to visit family. Hornsby area. Never get up there in the Esprit though.
  3. I am finally starting at a new job tomorrow. Maintenance planner for a company that are pretty much the world leaders in carbon fibre rims.
  4. Apparently polar bears are actually black skinned and their fur is clear. The Cheetah can accelerate from standstill to 60mph in 3 seconds. Not bad for something without an engine. I didn't realise it was that fast.
  5. I wonder if one would be able to spec one of those auto park doohickeys? The wife's Skoda has it and it is brilliant at reverse parking.
  6. So where do they get the numbers from that are on the placard that the lady in the first photo is holding? 14,463 cardiac disorers (yes, that's how she spelt it). 36,132 reproductive disorders. 159 birth defects. How are these numbers classified as being directly attributable to a Covid injection?
  7. I quite liked the Red when I was mucking around on the configurator. (tan interior and no black pack) Just means you have to have black or yellow calipers as the red calipers are a completely different red and just do not work.
  8. Easy to fix. First park the car in the garage as suggested by Michael. @LotusLeftLotusRight Also make sure that the car is as far into the garage as to where you want to park it. Then, drill two holes in a cheap tennis ball on either side and thread a long piece of string through the holes and tie off on one side so that the ball doesn't fall off the string. Then, with the aid of an assistant, hold the string against the ceiling of the garage so that the tennis ball just touches the windscreen and is directly in front of the driver eyes. Once the length and position is worked out, anchor the end of the string to the ceiling of your garage. (I leave it to you to work out how you will do that.) This solves two issues. You line the ball up with you in the drivers seat when you approach the garage, which will set you up in the doorway and once the ball touches the windscreen, you are as far into the garage as to where you want the car to sit. As the meerkat on the Aussie 'Compare Super' ad says, "Simples."
  9. Welcome to TLF Jason. Porsche looks nice. I'll be honest ad say that I looked at a very early 911 when I was in Sydney many years ago Have fun with the Exige when you get it.. Any questions or issues with using the forums, feel free to ask one of us mods. We're here to help.

  11. Welcome to TLF JT. I suppose there might be some colours which stand out more, but I am not sure what they might be though. Where in Sydney are you? Any questions or issues with using the forums, feel free to ask one of us mods. We're here to help.
  12. Welcome to TLF Ali. Have you decided which specification Emirsa you are looking at?. Any questions or issues with using the forums, feel free to ask one of us mods. We're here to help.
  13. Welcome to TLF Chris. Best of luck with it all. I haven't driven an Exige, but can imagine it would be a hoot. Any questions or issues with using the forums, feel free to ask one of us mods. We're here to help.

  15. Welcome to TLF David. Based on the photo above, if that is you David, I don't think you'll be able to see over the dash. Best of luck with it all. There are lots of knowledgable people on here. Any questions or issues with using the forums, feel free to ask one of us mods. We're here to help.
  16. Welcome to TLF Mike. Has the look of being understated, but will be a barrel of fun. Any questions or issues with using the forums, feel free to ask one of us mods. We're here to help.
  17. I am pretty sure that the luxury car tax was put in place to protect our Australian car industry. Since we don't have a car industry anymore, that should mean that the tax gets dropped now? Yeah, right.
  18. I have a traditional Silva compass. It would be at least 30 years old. One of the simple fluid filled ones. Brilliant. Would always tell Liz any planned route and times. I can quite easily sleep on a foam mat in a sleeping bag. Sleeping is one of the easy things.
  19. @Kimbers Ya' big panty waist! @Bibs Yeah, I know the hour hand and twelve thing. Many years as a Cub, Scout and Venturer. If I go hiking and I take my phone, it would live in my pack and not close to hand.
  20. I am thinking of taking this up again. I used to do this a lot when I was younger (and single) but there is a part of me that just wants to get away from things and let my mind relax. I have thought about getting myself some sort of watch which has a compass etc. but trying to wade through the multitude of watches is daunting. I would also be looking at getting myself the rest of the gear that one would need. Backpack, bivvie tent, etc. I was planning on doing this with my daughters partner (ex SAS), and am feeling things out to see what I would be up for. So based on the above, is there anyone on here that does similar and has any recommendations of equipment? Thanks guys
  21. Welcome to TLF @MrBlueSky As C8RKH said, we would all like to see some photos. You should duck over to the Introductions area and say hi in there as well.
  22. And I highly doubt it will be of a concern in the Emira. If Mr. Button is to be believed, and I don't see why we wouldn't, the Emira is a step up.
  23. I would say the chat person got it wrong. Much earlier information has said that everyones dates would be honoured. So what spec did you ask for on your tv? And no. There is no need to start another thread. In here is fine.
