Covid: Anti-vax protesters intimidate teen outside jab centre - BBC News

Tragic and people like that should be arrested. What right do they think they have to harass somebody for doing something that has no impact on their lives whatsoever.

So where do they get the numbers from that are on the placard that the lady in the first photo is holding?

14,463 cardiac disorers (yes, that's how she spelt it).

36,132 reproductive disorders. 159 birth defects.

How are these numbers classified as being directly attributable to a Covid injection?

Thank you for the welcome.  I'm getting the V6 with the manual.  I was originally wanting the Dark Verdant, but I'm hoping they'll have body shells in the remaining 4 paint colors available soon so I can see how dark it actually is.  The paint sample discs showed it being way too dark.  If it's still too dark, I may go with either red or Nimbus.

I quite liked the Red when I was mucking around on the configurator. (tan interior and no black pack) Just means you have to have black or yellow calipers as the red calipers are a completely different red and just do not work.

Luckily the garage is 2370mm wide, I am sure it will still be bum clenching every time though 🤣

    Easy to fix.

First park the car in the garage as suggested by Michael. @LotusLeftLotusRight Also make sure that the car is as far into the garage as to where you want to park it.

Then, drill two holes in a cheap tennis ball on either side and thread a long piece of string through the holes and tie off on one side so that the ball doesn't fall off the string.

Then, with the aid of an assistant, hold the string against the ceiling of the garage so that the tennis ball just touches the windscreen and is directly in front of the driver eyes. Once the length and position is worked out, anchor the end of the string to the ceiling of your garage. (I leave it to you to work out how you will do that.)

This solves two issues. You line the ball up with you in the drivers seat when you approach the garage, which will set you up in the doorway and once the ball touches the windscreen, you are as far into the garage as to where you want the car to sit.

As the meerkat on the Aussie 'Compare Super' ad says,

    "Simples."

Porsche looks nice. I'll be honest ad say that I looked at a very early 911 when I was in Sydney many years ago

Based on the photo above, if that is you David, I don't think you'll be able to see over the dash. :getmecoat:

In Australia we've been told that prices will be announced in early October.  I only wish it would be a simple conversion of the UK price to Aussie dollars!  We traditionally get hit with a significant premium over UK prices.  Porsche are one of the worst culprits; we pay about 40% more for a base 911 than the Brits.  Some of it is taxes (we have a luxury car tax), but it's also the manufacturers taking advantage of an isolated market that effectively prohibits private imports from other countries.

I am pretty sure that the luxury car tax was put in place to protect our Australian car industry. Since we don't have a car industry anymore, that should mean that the tax gets dropped now?

    Yeah, right.

  7. I have a traditional Silva compass. It would be at least 30 years old. One of the simple fluid filled ones. Brilliant.

Would always tell Liz any planned route and times.

I can quite easily sleep on a foam mat in a sleeping bag. Sleeping is one of the easy things.

  8. I am thinking of taking this up again. I used to do this a lot when I was younger (and single) but there is a part of me that just wants to get away from things and let my mind relax.

I have thought about getting myself some sort of watch which has a compass etc. but trying to wade through the multitude of watches is daunting. I would also be looking at getting myself the rest of the gear that one would need. Backpack, bivvie tent, etc. I was planning on doing this with my daughters partner (ex SAS), and am feeling things out to see what I would be up for.

So based on the above, is there anyone on here that does similar and has any recommendations of equipment?

    Thanks guys

  9. I would say the chat person got it wrong. Much earlier information has said that everyones dates would be honoured.

So what spec did you ask for on your tv? And no. There is no need to start another thread. In here is fine. :getmecoat:
