  1. LOL, Yup, they don't understand much about cars and our point of view on them! I can't imagine your situation with 3 of them! Esprit's that is! Not wives! I look forward to seeing you when you get back. Serge
  2. Hi Andrew, Sounds like you've got a hell of a project going with these kids. When you back to Edmonton? Serge
  3. Hello, Greetings from Alberta. There are several Esprits in Alberta ( I know of at least 7 or 8 of them), my girlfriend and I have 2 of them. We should all plan a little get together somewhere that works for all of us for a weekend get together. Cheers, Serge 88 & 2003 Esprits
  4. Hey Mark! Good to see you back on the forum! Where the heck is all the other Canadians that used to be on here? 27 days and counting!, you know what I mean Mark! Serge
  5. Hello Chris, Serge here with the White Esprit from Euroquake 09 this summer. If your looking for a nice Esprit, the yellow 2002 at Euroquake is up for sale. It is a nice one in fantastic shape. I can put you in contact with the owner if your intersted. Its a V8 twin turbo model. Cheers, Serge
  6. And a great weekend it was! Thanks Chris.
  7. Anybody have a complete set, front and back, of lowering / adjusting shocks / dampners that they want to get rid off?
  8. Welcome to the Canadian side of the forum. Nice Esprit! Serge
  9. The hotel burned me down for a more expensive rate, but I will be there Saturday morning.
  10. Well I know a couple of guys in Edmonton now with Esprits, so I'm in anytime. Scott, I have yet to meet you and your Esprit yet. Lets get something going, snow will be falling again soon........damn it. Serge Edmonton
  11. Sent you an email, please have a look for. Thanks!
  12. Thanks, I appreciate that. SJ has a full set for 280 GBP, problem is when I convert that to Canadian dollars, thats about 500 Canadian, then shipping makes these about 900 - 1000 Canadian. Ouch. I was just hoping somebody had a set lieing around that they wouldnt mind getting rid off for cheaper to help a fellow Esprit owner out.
  13. Still looking if anybody has a set that makes sense economically.
  14. Anybody have a full set of wheel arches for front and back that will fit an 88 Esprit turbo that you wouldnt mind selling to me in Canada? Thanks, Serge 88 Esprit Canada
  15. Hi Mark, I was begining to think that I was the only person watching this canadian site anymore. It is dead, dead, dead on here. I have ordered some stuff from Richmond, but I have a garage problem so working on my cars been a bitch. I havent been able to get a thing done yet. I am so pissed about this. I was hoping to get some spoiler stuff, side sills, but have abandonded the idea. Too expensive from Europe, and there is nothing in Canada or USA it seems. I got a carbon fiber roof panel and thats been the extent of my modifications so far. Whats happening in your world lately? Hows John, Andie and the rest of the gang down there? Serge
  16. My inexperience shows in this question so all apologies. Can anyone tell me if the roof panel for a 2002 Esprit fit my 88 Esprit? And because I am in Canada, cars here have to have a center high mount brake light assembly. My car has the holes for it, but there's no assembly there. Is this something I can only find at Lotus themselves for a small fortune? We have no parts dealers in Canada who can help me with this. Thanks for your help and advise. Serge
  17. My apologies Bibs, I wasnt aware of breaking any rules. If I was, accept my apologies. I am just trying to find a cost sensible way for Canadians like myself to get parts and accessories for our Esprits. Serge
  18. Hi Bibs, Thanks for that but everthing listed there is out of the UK. SO EXPENSIVE to ship to Canada. I was hoping to motivate some of the Canadians to dust off some of their parts and list them so that if i was interested I could buy, but other esprit owners out there in Canada maybe interested too. I see lots of good stuff on the UK side of the site, but cry when I get the frieght bill. Its so frustrating. A spoiler for you costs 172, it costs me more than 600. Thats why I am trying to get Canadians to sell their stuff they may not want. Serge Canada
  19. Anybody interested in having a post where stuff you may have for sale can be shared with fellow Esprit owners in CANADA? I have been looking for things but the frieght across the pond has made a lot of my projects or intentions be put on hold. But maybe somebodies got some stuff for sale. Post it and lets see who wants and buys across CANADA. nadaSerge P.S. What is going on, everybody is so quiet?
  20. What are you guys complaining about? It must be nice to have an "SJ" in your backyard....I'd love to have them here for just 6 months of the year. I wish shipping wasnt so expensive to Canada, Steve would be a rich man just from me! I had many plans to buy stuff from him, but just a carbon fiber roof insert cost me 400 dollars in shipping costs to Canada. That puts an end to a lot of plans.......be glad he's in your backyard and only on holidays for a couple of days.
  21. I didnt buy mine as an investment, I bought it for pure love and a childhood dream. I have my Esprit now and as far as I am concerned, they can bury me in it. I will never sell it, I may buy another, but I will never sell it. But thats just me........
  22. Mark, My winter projects will become more interesting in the next year or two, when I decide to put something into this car thats going to make everyone say "holy fu..". I have had a few discussions with my ol' drag racing Buddies.......oh oh, some crazy stuff being discussed. I like keeping the canadian section uniquely Canadian, but at the same time, let 'em all look if they want.
  23. So keep looking, there will be more. Or like I say, check in with Aerobat on this forum, John has an awesome S4 for sale. Not that cheap, but a very sharp car worth the money.
  24. Keep looking "Beev", they're around. It took me a while to find my Stevens, but it was worth the wait and the deal that I got on it. There will be more coming available as the economic downturn in the States takes hold.
