  1. Pioneer head unit as fitted to Evora’s around 2012. Was in perfect working order when removed from my old car (I upgraded to an android auto unit) All the relevant cables are there but the pioneer to Evora cable has been cut (see picture) hence bargain price. Full iso connectors for this unit are about £25 on eBay but they will need adapting to fit your lotus. Pickup from Hemel Hempstead or I can post in the UK which should be about £10 The post Pioneer Avic f930bt appeared first on Click to view item

  3. Lotus Esprit S3 last on the road 1983.Last time the engine was run was 1983 so will need a body off restoration. The interior is in the Colin Chapman colors and only four were made in this color. This one was issued to Mr T Enright (a former CEO of Lotus). The interior is immaculate and has the period radio fitted ,the head lining is silver and in perfect cond.Still on Goodyear NCT,s.There no cracks on any of the plastic components .I would describe this as a barn find, comes with the tool kit and spare wheel. The body is perfect but has lacquer lifting from the front up to the doors and would require a sympathetic restoration. Comes with cert of provenance. The wheels have slight corrosion . I have had Esprits for 40 years and I am an enthusiast and would like to see to someone likewise. 4. Please visit the Pistonheads link for a full set of photos. The Alias23 V6 Exige I bought this Exige in March as my divorce celebration. Celebration undertaken I need to buy property for the new partner So what did I buy; the most amazing fantastic Exige V6 the well known and much loved Alias23 Exige which was the platform for a range of after market Lotus modifications. The specification is huge and extensive. Rather than me try to explain it as well the previous owner I have copied and pasted the advert that I fell in love with in February 2021. All the credit for this amazing unique Exige goes to Mr Imran Choudhary of Alias23. So here it is. The advert from Imran February 2021. First off…If you’re looking for a standard car then this is not it, what I’ve developed over the last seven years of ownership is what I believe is the ultimate track and road Exige V6S. The whole life and build of this car has been thoroughly documented over twenty nine pages (Check the Alias23 Build Thread on TheLotusForum) the car has wanted for nothing, with over £36,000 of upgrades (exc. Install costs) all detailed below, with a service frequency and breadth which is arguably unnecessary but keeps my OCD at bay and ensures the car is super healthy and strong. The car has been meticulously cared for throughout its life by Dan Webster at HPE Auto and a service listing is available on request. I’ve not been one for big power numbers, preferring superior handling, weight reduction, and driver tuition, so the car has no engine or exhaust modifications other than the Alias23 intake which adds improved throttle response and addictive induction howl. Big highlights of the build include, mechanical LSD which transforms the car both on road and track, genuine OEM 350 shifter upgrade, and the AiM digital dash. **Handling** Lotus 400 Upgraded Clutch & Mechanical LSD (£4,500 inc install) V6 Uprights Spherical Bearing Upgrade (£795) Spitfire Rear Toe Link Kit (£354) Komotec KoBra 4 Brake Kit with performance friction discs and pads (£3,330) Lotus Motorsport Forged Alloys with Yokohama Tyres (£2,700) Innovative Upgraded Engine Mounts (£500) **Performance & Other Enhancements** OEM Lotus 350 Shifter Upgrade (£2,500) Simply Sports Car Upgraded Shifter Cable Set (£450) Alias23 Air Intake Kit (£399) Alias23 Silicone Hose Kit (£120) Hangar111 Gearbox Oil Cooler (£898) ProAlloy 60l Fuel Tank (£879) ProAlloy Ali Uprated Radiator (£718) **Interior ** AIM MX2E Digital Dash & Laptimer (£1,470) Alcantara Dash Re-Trim (£1,200) Seriously Lotus Harness V-Bar (£200) Schroth 6-Point Harness (£387) Full Carpet Set (£350) Carbon Fibre Internal Side Sills (£500) Carbon Fibre Air Bag Cover (£199) Inokinetic Heel & Toe Pedal Set (£100) B+G Quick Release Hub (£143) Momo Tuner Steering Wheel re-trimmed in Alcantara (£200) **Exterior** OEM 430 Cup Rear Wing Brackets with custom Carbon Fibre Komotec Wing (£2,800) Reverie Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser (£1,930) GFWilliams Carbon Fibre Mirrors (£850) Alias23 Carbon Fibre 430 Cup Side Scoops (£1,000) Lotus Motorsport CupR Track Front Splitter (£450) Alias23 Front Splitter Reinforcement Plate (£110) Alias23 Extended Side Sills (£290) Lotus Motorsport CupR Canards (£180) Rear Side Spats (£200) GRP V2 Rear Lights (£450) I have had miles of smiles and ready to pass on to a new keeper The post The Alias Exige V6 appeared first on Click to view item
  5. Original and Immaculate LF1. Low mileage (now 9051). FSH. 484 miles since the last service (just before lockdown). Original Standard Car but with the rare upgrade to the Alloy ‘Endurance Fuel Tank’ (brings the frustrating fuel capacity up from 38L to 60L. Plus it’s 4kg lighter than the steel one.) Registration LF1 SHOW is also included. MoT was only a few miles ago at the end of last year. Fresh sticky tyres (NS2R). Recent geo set up. Red Motorsport tow point option. Armaguard paintwork protection. Union Jacks. This is Number 62 of the 81 produced, celebrating Lotus’ F1 victory in Dijon in 1977. Comes with all the options (Cruise control, AC, Heated Seats, carbon trim, usb, cupholder etc) Plus lots of extra Lotus bits and bobs that compliment the car: Including the F1 car keyring. Lotus Cap, Pen, VIP paddock pass, Lotus valve caps. Lotus shoulder bag. Lotus earplugs. Phone holder. Lots of Paperwork & Manuals, 2 Keys etc. (Original number plates are also included.) Driven sympathetically and never ‘launched’. I’m selling this car reluctantly after nearly 4 happy years. It still smells like new when you jump in, it’s a real head turner / conversation starter / selfie inspirer (!!) and is a future classic. Stored in a heated garage near Alresford, in Hampshire. I’ve always avoided driving it on salty or wet roads. If needed, I can deliver the car once it’s sold.. I’m also selling as extras – (But I’d include these near the asking price, if desired) – A soft removable roll-up roof that can easily swap onto the car for summer / touring etc. £400 A great quality thick fitted Exige fleece cover. £100 A Lightweight sports exhaust (Quicksilver. 6kg lighter. with quietening tips). £600 Spare pair of OE part-worn front tyres.. (someone already bought the rears). £100. Lotus F1 Rain Coat and Gillet (in XL).unworn. £50 Lotus watch that matches the car (black, red & gold). £50 It’s a great car but it needs a new home. Asking for £49995 No canvassers / ‘Sale or Return’ or silly offers please. I look forward to answering any questions. The post LOW MILEAGE CHERISHED EXIGE V6 LF1 appeared first on Click to view item

  10. I’m selling my Excel SE as I don’t get chance to use it enough and I’m losing my garage and I couldn’t stand to see it deteriorate, standing in the street so it needs to go to a good home. It is white with blue leather trim. The headlining is in good condition without any drooping. Bodywork is in good condition although there are paint chips on the nose and the edges of the doors and some delamination of the windscreen. There are some stress cracks here and there so I would describe it as a 10 meter car, i.e. it looks perfect from 10 meters away and certainly gets plenty of admiring looks. The 180bhp engine starts easily and performs well. The 5-speed Toyota gearbox shifts easily and quietly. Stainless steel exhaust link pipes have recently been fitted to allow it to pass its MOT (valid to July 2022) without any advisories. The new front brake discs help rein in the speed as needed although the excellent roadholding and handling mean the brakes aren’t used as much as on many other cars of its era. It’s rumoured that the Excel could lap Lotus’ test track more quickly than the contemporary Esprit and having owned both, I can believe it. Yet it’s a quiet and comfortable cruiser when you are not pushing it so hard. The best of both worlds. It was probably the first well-built, reliable Lotus model. 11. Hello folks. I’m looking to get my first Lotus, and decided I’m after an Evora S. If anyone has anything that matches this sort of spec, I’d be glad to hear about it! • Upto £40k • With tech pack and sport pack • Newer seat style (red stitching etc) • Improved gear cables (a post 2012 change I think?) • under 50,000 miles • Not particularly fussy on colour- just not black! • FSH • I don’t mind if its a 2+0 or 2+2 Thank you! (Hope it’s OK to post wanted Ads here, this seemed like the correct place?) The post WANTED: Evora, upto £40k appeared first on Click to view item

  16. For sale my 1981 Lotus Esprit Turbo On the Dry Sump Register, the previous owner, SimonE, posted on the Forum regarding his rebuild of the engine in 2009, seemed there was an oil leak when it was started and he thereafter lost interest, I purchased in March 2019 from a Classic car dealer who presumably purchased from Simon. It was running rough when purchased so I tuned the carbs and had it running sweetly for about an hour, only then did I notice the copious amounts of oil coming from underneath, it must have leaked at least a litre in that hour, so I duly shut it down and haven’t attempted starting it since. I believe there was mention of the front crankshaft oil seal leaking, I suspect it was split when installing over the crank, easily done if the correct installation sleeve is neglected. I have the invoices for engine parts from PNM when the build was undertaken, Simon mentioned that the scavenge pumps were inspected and found to be in excellent condition. The cambelt is now 12 years old and I wouldn’t attempt another start until that is changed and the crankshaft oil seal replaced, it was my intention to take the engine out and attend to its requirements, however, I have other commitments and I doubt I will ever get around to it, 10 years ago I would have whipped the engine out on the day of purchase, I find that I no longer have the inclination, sign of getting old I guess. I have owned four Esprits and worked on them all, but I am not sure whether the crankshaft oil seal can be changed in situ, I believe it can but I can’t be certain, the cambelt can be done without removing the engine and I have done so several times. It is a highly desirable car nonetheless, body and paint in great condition, the interior was slightly faded when purchased and I have had time to recolour the leather in the original Lotus shade which was colour matched to Mustard by Furniture Clinic after I sent them a sample removed from under the seat, the interior now looks like new and has a great smell, there are no splits in the leather, just had to fill in a few nicks. I currently have the Esprit, an Altair Green Elite S2.2 and a Monaco White Eclat S2.2, I have decided to sell two and consequently will be putting the others up for sale, whatever remains after two have sold will be kept, if it is the Esprit then so be it, I will eventually get around to sorting out the engine. At the moment it is up for sale and initially I am looking for offers, ideally from Forum members but it will soon go on EBay, not that it will sell on there, they rarely make reserve, but it is a medium to alert potentially interested parties, my intention is thereafter to put it into the next classic car auction at Duxford, however, I am more than happy to allow viewings at any time from now and will listen to offers made, so if interested please don’t hesitate to contact me, I am in Cheshunt North London, not far from the old Lotus factory, I am available most days, David 07458395770, or email me on The post 1981 Lotus Esprit Turbo Dry Sump appeared first on Click to view item

  18. Selling my fantastic Lotus Evora 400. I’ve had this car since 2019 and have absolutely loved it. Now has come the time to sell to help fund a house extension. The 400 is absolutely fantastic and great value compared to the pricier models whist offering a significant upgrade on the earlier models. – Metallic white with red half leather/Half alcantara interior. – 6 speed manual – full main dealer lotus service history – in my ownership this has been done at Bell and Colvill who are very well reputed – last service in December was the relatively larger 4 year service costing approx 1000. The service needed later this year will be nice and cheap – Michelin pilot sport 4s tyres which have around 7k miles on them. These are excellent tyres with lots of life left- I’d consider a cheaper part exchange (an S1 or s2 Elise in particular would be very welcome.. maybe a caterham!)
