  1. This very rarely available genuine Lotus Elise S1 Sport 190 was built in February 1998 by the Lotus Motorsport department, and is the second (of 36 in total) Sport 190 built. This is confirmed by the factory certificate of provenance. The exact specification of the Sport 190 cars often varied, as the they were custom built by the Motorsport department, but in addition to the general standard 190 spec, this car was fitted with Dynamics two-way adjustable dampers with remote reservoirs. Additionally the car sits on a very rare set of lightweight magnesium road wheels, currently fitted with Lotus spec Yokohama tyres. In 2001, the second owner of the car, took it to renowned engine tuners Turbo Technics, who carried out their TT260 conversion to the VHPD engine. This upgrade, as the name suggests, delivers 260bhp and 200lb/ft, via a wealth of modifications, including forged pistons & rods, chargecooled supercharger system, tuned induction with 8 injectors. An Emerald ECU ensures that full control of the engine delivers the optimum from the hardware upgrades. The car presents excellently in original Azure Blue, having recently had stone chips repaired on the front clamshell. The original cloth sports interior is complete and in very good overall condition. The black soft top roof is also present and in very good condition. Having had light use over the last few years, it has been part of a small collection by the current owner (since 2014) – the history shows the car has covered only 1000 miles since 2013, with mileage currently at 15500. Having been regularly maintained in its current ownership, by Hangar 111, in 2021 the car was subject to a major service, including replacement of the cambelt, tensioner, and water pump. It has just had a health check and given a fresh MOT ready for its next owner. Present with the car is the bolt-in petty bar which completes the orignial roll over protection. Also a set of original VHPD “swan neck” throttle bodies with Lotus carbon fibre airbox, should a future owner wish to return the engine to standard specification. Viewing strictly by appointment with Hangar 111, please contact us to arrange. The post Lotus Elise S1 Sport 190 TT260 appeared first on lotusforsale.com. Click to view item
  2. Lotus Evora Launch Edition, 2009, 3.5 litre V6, 276bhp, 6 speed manual, NA, 2+2 (rear seats), FSH and genuine 27,300 miles. Super-rare fully loaded early model. New MOT and service just completed by Lotus main dealer Bell and Colvill. Aspen metallic white, paprika with black full leather interior with correct factory Recaro seats. Option forged alloy wheels (an expensive option when new). 37th of only 87 Launch Edition cars (UK market) with limited edition plaque. All option packs – Tech, Sports & Premium – including original Alpine multimedia system with reversing camera and Bluetooth. Full Service History, service book fully stamped, a folder full of paperwork, all handbooks, wallet and spare key included. Brand new correct spec Pirelli P Zero front tyres put in August 2022 to match the rears, all with plenty of tread. The car has always been garaged in my ownership and has clearly been a ‘weekend’ car all of it’s life. All usual factory PPF plus PPF to the headlamps. Drives superbly without any issues whatsoever. I have recently taken the car on the continent covering 2,500 miles without a single problem. I have completed 7,000 miles in the last 6 months and the car has been faultless. Rare early car with alloy internal door pulls (after 2010 the cars has plastic door pulls). Sport button for more responsive throttle response. Superb condition throughout, I looked at many Evora before buying this car. The paintwork and interior look like a 1 year old car, all original but beautifully maintained, the car is cleaned and polished each weekend. A very reluctant sale. Normally aspirated Evora with lower road tax duty, better fuel economy, lower running costs and less weight than the later S and 400 Evora. Please note that the interior is Paprika, not bright red, it is not as bright as the photos suggest. Currently on a private plate (Y23 AMP) that will be changed over to its original plate (HF59 AFO) upon sale. 3. With a heavy heart I have decided the time has come to sell my Burnt Orange NA Launch Edition Evora (2+2). This is an incredibly rare colour. I don’t know exact numbers but from what I can gather there were less than 10 launch editions this colour. The Particular car was one of the first two cars sold in the UK and was featured in press articles of it being collected from Hethel. You can tell it is an early car as it has hand written notes from one engineer to another on the inside of the front bumper so it is real piece of usable lotus history. I looked at a lot of cars before buying this one and even though it slighter higher miles it has a huge history of work done and has always been looking after by lotus main dealers or a lotus specialist. It has the all-important clutch replacement done as well as new dampers and brakes all around all within the last 5k miles. The S1 NA Evora’s really are very special cars with the softer dampers and smaller wheels making an incredibly subtle ride combined with sublime handling (less weight high up than the Evora S) and practicality of the 2+2 version. The one criticism of the original car with the power output and exhaust noise. I have added a BOE cold air intake and remap to the original sports exhaust and it really does make a massive difference, power is up approximately 25bhp but the mid range torque/ response is what you really notice. It genuinely does feel like a different car from stock and sounds amazing now also (a howl at the top end but quiet when cruising) £25000 The car has covered 77953 miles. HPI Clear 12 months MOT (no advisories) FSH all lotus main dealer or specialist (see full details below) It’s a Launch edition 2+2 so has the essential 4 seats (Charcoal Grey Leather Recaros) and all the desired packs (Tech, Premium and Sports) The car has the rare “long box” which was only available on early cars. This has the same ratios 1-2nd as the later CR cars but longer final gears including a very long 6th gears which means it will cruise at under 2k revs at motorways speeds. Not only does this make it a quite relaxed cruiser it also means it will do 35-40mpg on a run (saving fuel of the fun bits of road!) It has had a huge amount of work done my myself and the previous owner (over 8k in total) with the Clutch done at 72200miles (June 2019), new A/C compressor (June 2019) and A/C Condenser (March 2018), 4 x new OEM Bilsteins with New Eibach Springs (Nov 2019) and new OEM brake pads all round (Nov 2019) In 2021 it had a full new set of callipers, disks and pads, new handbrake cables, rear hubs bearings and sump pan. (see full details below) Upgraded double DIN head unit (not amazing my todays standards but does the job!) reverse camera, satnav, CD, Radio Aux in. I have installed a set of salbelt, clip in harnesses for fast road and the occasion track day. Since installing them I now use them on every drive as they really do connect you to the car and make the experience alto more fun. The 3 point harnesses still operate in the normal way. The harnesses are easily removable if you new owner does not want them installed in the car. I had the headlights refurbished, opened up and resealed so no water ingress and also added upgraded Osram night breaker Xenon bulbs so night driving is now a pleasure. Bad points The car is in very good condition in general with the pearl coat paint looking amazing in the sun (changes colours as you walk around it) It has a few age related marks and the front bumper would benefit from a respray due to stone chips (I have never bothered as it will just happen again) There is some curbing marks on one wheel but all the rest are in good condition. The car has just flown through its MOT (aircon recharged) but I have not had a chance to get it’s annual service done yet. I can get this done for the new owner or the cost can be taken off the price of the car. I drivers seat bolster is worn but I have ordered the correct die to refurbish this for the new owner. Decat pipe for Evora or Exige Perfect and a cheap way to get more noise out of your N/A Evora, This decat pipe has the bolt holes directly opposite on the flange, very early cars were offset so best to check. 6. The quintessential barn find Lotus Eclat Riviera for sale. Been in storage for an incredible 30 years without turning a wheel, last tax disc 1992. I was informed that the engine had been rebuilt prior to storage but I cannot confirm that, the engine is presently seized and I have treated the bores with penetrating oil. Mileage is recorded at 70,000 and that will be correct. It is my intention to complete a rebuild, however, my garage space is occupied by a pristine Lotus Elite S2.2 which is also advertised for sale, whichever one sells first will necessitate the other being withdrawn from sale, I have no real preference as I love them both, I will leave it in the hands of the Lotus gods. Ideal opportunity to view an Elite that requires no expenditure and a Riviera that requires a rebuild, I can accommodate viewings at any time and date, my location is Cheshunt North London, not far from the old Lotus Factory. The all important Riviera parts are present and intact. Great opportunity to put another iconic Lotus back on the roads where they should be. There were only 78 Eclat Rivieras produced and this is my fifth, if I can’t restore it then I hope to find someone that will. With just 133 Elite S2.2 models produced from 1980 to 1982 it is a very rare car, even rarer to find in this condition. Less than 50 remain with about 22 registered with DVLA, that is taxed, SORN or on the road. The stunning gold colour was only used on a handful of examples, I don’t recall seeing another in the flesh. Extensively refurbished in 1992 with 61,000 registered miles, documented in numerous pictures, current mileage 80,000, the fully rebuilt engine has covered just 19,000 miles over the last 30 years. The diff was rebuilt in 1992, the gearbox was rebuilt in 2016 and has had minimal mileage since with just 100 miles since. In view of minimal miles in last 10 years I have just completed the recommissioning process in anticipation of regular use in the coming years. New parts fitted:- Gates cambelt Tensioner bearing Alternator/water pump belt (Gates) Otter switch Thermostat Evans waterless coolant Spark plugs Genuine Dellorto rebuild kit MISAB O rings Air filter NGK Ignition leads Engine oil Gearbox oil Diff oil Tyres Battery Windscreen wiper Only selling as I have an Eclat Riviera to rebuild and I could do with the garage space. Having said that I am also advertising the barn find Riviera, whichever sells first I will be keeping the other one, I love both cars and have no real preference which one to keep, will leave that in the hands of the Lotus gods. Can be viewed anytime in Cheshunt North London EN76XR, not far from the old Lotus Factory, just contact me by email with your preferred date and time and I will endeavour to accommodate. The pictures show the superb condition, I believe it is even better in person so viewing is essential, view both at the same time, the barn find Riviera needs a complete rebuild and the Elite wants for nothing, excellent opportunity to view both ends of the spectrum if you are undecided about which route to take. Priced at the same level as numerous mundane classics that will rust before your eyes, will they be around in another 41 years, unlikely, however I am confident that the Elite will be around for another 100 years. An Esprit in this condition would be £40k to £50k, I predict that the Elite will achieve parity in the not too distant future as it is every bit as good as an Esprit and yes I have owned four Esprit models and have equal love for them. I said the same with the Elan and Elan +2, at one point 15 years ago the +2 was a quarter of the valuation of the Elan, now they are very much similar. Happy to discuss all things Lotus with interested parties, offers invited, sorry don’t need another car at present so no p/x. 10. Bought these many years ago to use on my own Esprit S2 restoration, but at the time, plans changed and the car was sold. Just rediscovered these in a storage unit. 2 are brand new and the third is also, but has a very very slight piece of corner damage which is cosmetic and doesn’t affect functionality. This really shows the cleanliness of the car and ready to be enjoyed by lucky new owner. Backed up by a Maintenance Schedule and all OK Road Test, signed by Williams Lotus. Information about wheels: Evora 18/19” Forged Alloys. Great condition, no kerb damage. Colour compliments the car. These wheels are 1kg per wheel lighter than the standard Evora cast wheels, thus reducing unsprung weight. Personally I wanted to avoid standard alloys on looks alone and the 19/20 being less practical and uncomfortable ride, with thinner tyres. Summary Overall lovely condition, lotus enthusiast owned; regularly detailed by myself (snow foam, hand dried, polished and waxed) This intended to be a keeper, but change in circumstances; and so has limited my usage. Garaged, dry weather use only and run on super unleaded in my ownership. The NA is a good mix of performance and economy. Unlike the supercharger this is in the lower tax band, cheaper to run, maintain and insurance (I pay sub £300); I’ve had 37mpg on a 150 mile journey. 17. Financial pressures meant I had my car listed a few months ago, in the end I held onto it – but the pressures have come back so sadly it’s back on the market. Cover star for Absolute Lotus (main feature) in August 2021, it’s a 2011 2+2 manual in Ardent Red with black (wrap) roof, sills and splitter as per the black pack on the Sports Racer. 345bhp supercharged. Also like the Sports Racer, it has Sports, Premium and Tech packs – so includes niceties like full recaro leather, sports mode, raised rev limit, reversing camera, rear parking sensors, cruise control, Bluetooth, leather armrest, heated seats, subwoofer, tyre pressure monitoring and gloss black forged 19/20” wheels. Car is in excellent condition, with Ian Stent, editor of Absolute Lotus referring to the car as ‘factory fresh’, and ‘one of the best Evoras I’ve ever driven’. There are some tasteful upgrades from stock to bring the car up to date, including: Upgraded Pioneer Avic head unit with *CarPlay* Premium Pack Sport Recaro seats (black with red stitching) Retrimmed leather steering wheel Upgraded aluminium gear knob Custom matching red mats (originals remain underneath) 2bular 3rd cat bypass pipe Other notes: Excellent gearbox action – no stickiness or recalcitrance. New clutch in 2019, only 6k miles ago. New aircon compressor & condenser, reversing camera, gas struts and stainless mudguard brackets at last service. New passenger window regulator since then. Discs and pads good condition all round, front pads recently changed. Tyres good condition all round. Car does not leak or squeak! (Not a given with Evoras) Some stone chips but paintwork generally in excellent condition. Passenger airbag nice and flush. Full Lotus Service history including £6200 full C service at PJ Lotus in 2019 (to include new clutch) and £5000 spent at at Bell and Colvill in 2021/2022 for most recent services and to get the car exactly as it should be. Full details available on request. Solid history of what work has been done and when/where, car is also well known to Lotus Silverstone. Happy to share full health report from B&C on most recent service. Mileage: 66k. Two keys. Two previous owners (in addition to original selling dealer, JCT600) . Viewings / inspection welcomed. Car is in NW London. Finally, bad bits: very few compared to most S1 Evoras! Wheels have a few scuffs. Trim on passenger door by window has come away slightly (common fault). Couple of repaired chips in the windscreen. That’s it! If you want an S Sports Racer but don’t want to pay Sports Racer money, this car is about as close as you’re going to get. £34,500 Either call/text/whatsapp me on 07813 829428 or email on [email protected] The post 2011 Lotus Evora S – Manual / 2+2 appeared first on lotusforsale.com. 18. The time has come to part with my very rare Eclat 2.2. 71k miles. Sadly due to loss of storage the car has to go. I bought the car in Nov 19 and during lockdown spent countless days improving the car as I intended to keep long term. Work included: New starter Full carb rebuild Cambelt summer 20 New alternator New coil / leads / plugs Full front suspension rebuild including springs and shocks Front and rear brake rebuild (nightmare of a job!) New servo Rebuilt master cylinder Interior strip and partial refresh Headlight motor repair New battery Replaced fuel gauge and sender New headlining Refurbished wheels and new tyres 2021 I’m sure there is more, I’m just checking the files! The car interestingly was bought with bucket seats and since found whilst playing with the engine that it has been upgraded so must have been used as a fast road car in the 90s. I have no paperwork for this but it has high compression and is very fast! The paintwork is good, though there is a small bit of crazing on the roof. There are small bits that need touching up but it really does shine well. Interior has not been completed and does let the car down to an extent, though the headlining has been done. I won’t get back the money (or time) I’ve put into this so looking for an enthusiast to move on to. Car was MOTed in Jan 21 before becoming tax and MOT exempt and has been driven this summer with no issues. The post Lotus Eclat S2.2 appeared first on lotusforsale.com. View the full article
  19. I’m selling the BOE intake from my Evora S, as I’m returning the car to stock for sale. This makes an amazing difference to the sound of the car- you get a real addictive supercharger whine, much more so than you get from the stock intake. It tidies up the engine bay a lot too. Good condition other than a bit of paint rub/small dent where it was mounted against the brace in the engine bay (you can just face this side down so you never see it). It includes a vacuum pod which means the exhaust valve will operate as normal (without this vacuum pod your exhaust will be in loud mode basically all the time), the ITG filter inside, and all the clips etc you need. Very easy to install, it only takes 10 minutes to get this in once the old airbox is out. £300. Collection from Swanley (London/Kent border) preferred, but UK postage available at additional cost. Thanks, Joe The post Evora S BOE intake (+ vacuum pod) appeared first on lotusforsale.com. Click to view item
  20. I am selling the 2bular valved exhaust from my Evora S. It’s this exhaust, with stainless pipes, and includes the decat pipe. https://www.2bular.com/evora-s/70mm-valved-system It’s been on the car for approx 10,000 miles, it’s in great condition. It completely transforms the experience of driving the car- it’s nice and civilized with the valve closed but an animal with it open! Easy to install if you have even basic mechanical knowledge. Collection from Swanley (London/Kent border). I can look into postage at additional cost if needed. £1,200 ono Thanks, Joe The post Evora S 2bular valved exhaust appeared first on lotusforsale.com. 23. 1981 Turbo Esprit Dry Sump, black with full black leather, this car was rebuilt mechanically around 7 years ago by renown specialist GST Performance under the supervision of its previous owner @bazza907 in my ownership it has only touched by either GST or our very own @Sparky, in fact tomorrow 6th Aug it is having a full A service and Carb rebuild. I have replaced the original cooling fans with the PNM upgrade but have kept the original cowlings and fans. It has 2 new Vredestein rear tyres i do however still have the original Eagle NCT’s. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition the body is good too fair, with the original paintwork. Interior is also excellent, It comes with both indoor and outdoor TLF covers, a new battery, including trickle charger, I have the boxed Lotus certificate of provenance which will also come with the car, i may change my mind about that though. I have this week registered it for Historic Road tax status so that no longer needs to be paid, the current MOT runs out 14/09/22, even though it is exempt I would be happy to put a new MOT on it should the new owner require it. It’s been an absolutely brilliant car, but it is time to move on to a more modern Lotus, then sit back and watch Esprit’s go stratospheric, which is what normally happens when I sell a car. Absolute Lotus Magazine featured the car in an early edition if you would like to read some more about it. thanks for looking Please get in contact should you require anymore information. Now not looking forward to all the, “don’t sell it” comments on the forum!! The post 1981 Dry Sump Esprit appeared first on lotusforsale.com. Click to view item
