  1. Hi guys, those on pic attached are mine from TAROX, 10 pistons, 330 mm disc. Nick
  2. Spoke directly with Lotus Engineering, with engineers... THAY WILL NEVER GIVE A LOTUS ALLOWANCE ON ANY WHEEL SIZE NOT TESTED/RELEASED/CERTIFIED BY LOTUS... So they will never allow wheels modifications, this modifications will be on our own risk (with police checks I mean). Lucky guys who are living in countries where is not forbidden to put bigger wheels!!! In Italy is forbidden sh...t !!! Nicola
  3. Martin, just connect the original harness (2 wires connector) that was connected to Delco system, to actual lelel switch wires (always 2). Should be normally open when level is OK, closed when level is low. Nick
  4. Finally I made and finished same upgrade of Martin and Mike (took vacuum from engine like Martin did) and I am very happy with it: braking is much better than before, better proportion between front and rear wheels (in my opinion DELCO system gives too much preference to front wheels). In addition I have put a proportioning valve on front wheels, because I prefer a higher braking on rear wheels (in any case lower than front wheels of course).... probably is not needed with Subaru pump... but I wanted to put it. I did not drive enough Km to find my best adjustment... will take time. In any
  5. Zach, if you wish I sell a whole PUMP with new SWITCH for 250 Euro plus shipment. The switch is NOT the original one, but an alternative switch I found. This switch closes below 2200 psi and closes at 2700 psi like original one. But the second contact that opens below 2200 psi is missing (this is the special feature of original one) I do not sell only the switch. Nicola
  6. Friends, I have an Esprit S4 (with 17" wheels, front and rear) and I want to put same wheels of an S4S (18" rear wheels is the difference). But in Italy we need a "PERMISSION" called NULLA OSTA in italian, from the manufacturer that allows this modification that will be written , then , on Reginstration document. If Police stops you and wheel on car are different than wheels and tyres written on Reginstration document, they will take your car!! I tryied through LOTUS TEAM Italy, Italian Lotus club, but nothing. I wrote email from LOTUS WEBSITE, but nothing. Does anybody has a cont
  7. Hi nigel, this is what I did. Nick http://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/topic/24586-tarox-monster-calipers/page__hl__tarox__fromsearch__1
  8. RESUME of what I found, for whom is still looking for the PRESSURE SWITCH: The obsolete PRESSURE SWITCH, part number B082J6137S. Is clear that is out of production, we cannot find it anymore… seems there is the last one in RUSSIA, but impossible to get it due to import issues from Russia. The LOTUS switch is a DOUBLE switch, details on Service Manual , section JF page 7 and description of ABS error code 36, code 42, code 59 and code 61 : 1) One switch, normally closed, open at 2700 psi (187 bar) when pump is running and pressure is increasing, it close at 2200 psi (151 bar) when pr
  9. Sorry, you are right Michael,,, but I was trying to help Paul with his question on this Topic, I will copy-paste same posting to other Topic now. Cheers Nick
  10. Dear Paul, I was looking for same switch, but is not findable anymore and this is a resume of what I have found: For whom is still trying to find the obsolete PRESSURE SWITCH, part number B082J6137S. 11. RAMJET, I have read all 14 pages of the famous post "calling all brake gurus" and I DIDN'T FIND ANY clear description of a "two switch solution" . In your posting of May 2009 you mention the possibility to put 2 switches with a T piece (clear and obvious alternative) but I cannot find any picture, part number, suppliers and prices of this modification. Do I mistake? Maybe I did not find it. I thought that this web site was used to help. suggest, propose alternatives, solutions with clear examples, suppliers names, prices.... Like I did for accumulators when people is getting mad to f
  12. Hmmmm.... I didn t know about the 124 bar switch for tell tale.... I didn t notice about that in the manual! So I have to use 2 pressure swithes (2 items I mean) in parallel, one for tell tale and one for pump. Will be easy to make a double hose for 2 sensor... otherwise I have to renounce to tell tale!! I was already convinced myself that I gave a hand to solve the obsolescence issue of the switch... sorry! Nick
  13. Dear Friends, I have just known that a GERMAN COMPANY , HANSA FLEX (www.hansa-flex.com) can recharge ABS accumulators for 25 Euro They also sell accumulators for 125 euro charged with 90 bar (1200 psi) of Nitrogen (100 Euro empty) , you will need an adapter to fit it on your ESPRIT (M14x.15 mm bolt is on original accumulator). I just boght 3 pieces of those accumulatos, I will let you know if they are 100% good for Esprit (mine is an Esprit S4, 1994) Part njumbers I bought are: Membrane accumulator : HK OLM-0.32-210A adapter XVR NW 03 HS 1/2 ED Another company in SPAIN
  14. I have seen same pressure switch from Australia (890 AU $)!! I FOUND THE ALTERNATIVE, a USA Company with delares in Germany (BARKSDALE.COM) Switch has an adjustable hysteresis. Original Lotus switch open at 186 bar and close at 151 bar (2700 - 2200 psi) so an hysteresis of 35 bar. Barksdale has a maximum hysteresis of 37 bar... identical ! Activation pressure is factory adjustable from 60 to 300 bar. Has normally open and normally closed contacts. Front thread is M12x1.5 mm, but can be different under request, in any case wont be a problem to purchase or make an interface bolt (Lotu
  15. GReaper, did you make pics and collected PNs of your modification? I know I am not the only one who asked for. Nick
