  1. Before and after. Just a header and tuning.
  2. Here is the next step. Before and after the 2bular header. The a/f actually richened up slightly. Next step tuning.
  3. Hi guys, I finally got around to putting my 2-Eleven on my dyno. http://mrozcompleteauto.com/pages/1/index.htm I had a small fan blowing on the intercooler and a brand new calibrated wideband sensor. Here are back to back pulls. Here is the pull with the A/F ratio. We will be doing tuning this weekend with a 2bular header. Stay tuned!
  4. Del, You want the oil temp high enough to boil off any moisture in it and flow properly. Just normal driving may not get the oil temp hot enough, high rpm and load raises the oil temp. I like to see oil temp around 100 to 110 deg c, once it goes over 120c I start to get worried. It depends where the oil temp sensor is located. Are you checking temp before or after it flows through the cooler? 70 deg c is too cold.
  5. Jack, You changed brakes? Where did you get the tires?
  6. Mine did not come with a plate either. I got it a few days later from my dealer and stuck it on.
  7. I received the proper splitter yesterday. The track splitter extends exactly 2" further than the standard one. I just finished installing it. Took about a 1/2 hour, it helps to have a extra set of hands. The body sure is flimsy, the panels flop all over with the splitter removed....took a bit to get all the holes lined up. First track event this year one month away...can't wait!
  8. Are you sure it's the button? Take a DVOM (digital volt/ohm meter) and test it. A faulty starter solenoid can give the same symptoms. Take a test light to the activation wire on the solenoid while someone hits the button. If it does not crank and you have power there you have a bad solenoid.....no power you have a bad button.
  9. Mine was doing the same thing so I cut one side of a piece of 3/8 rubber fuel hose lengthwise and slipped it over the edge of the engine cover that was contacting the intercooler hose. Works fine. A bit of hillbilly engineering.
  10. Bill, What build # starts the 2009's? Mine is a 08 but I have a later number than Matt.
  11. Hey Matt, Better start practicing your point by's. Don't worry, if I get to far ahead I'll slow down and let you catch up! Putnam will be a blast, just a 6 weeks away.
  12. It's wider than the road legal UK versions I have seen. My rear wing is almost as wide as the car...I can measure the width if you would like.
  13. Well it's been 10 days since I first contacted my dealer about getting the proper splitter. I call every couple of days, they have no answer from Lotus. Are parts even available for the 2-Eleven? This is frustrating My first track event is just one month away! Spoke to soon. Just got a call, it's handled Splitter is in Atlanta and I should have it middle of next week. A few e-mails from Nick Adams sped things along. Thanks Nick!!!
  14. Not connected on mine. I don't think it's for the MAF, I think it's for something emissions related like EVAP purge that's not used on the 2-Eleven.
  15. I just drilled right through the upright and bolted the cans up. No extra bracket, 1/4" bolts. Plenty of material on the upright.
  16. Thanks. I was thinking of something else. Is the US drivers seat Hans compatible?
  17. Thank you so much for the info I just called my dealer and they are on it. I can switch back and forth between splitters to see what I prefer. This is great!! Now we just need some warm weather and the tracks to open up here.
  18. I measured mine last night...sad to say only 3 inches 3inches from the center by the tow hook. Why would my car with the aero pack only have a 3" splitter? I have been reading about the tail happy nature of the 2-Eleven, I only have about 325 track miles on mine at just one track but I found the opposite to be true. I experienced push on a couple of corners, my Elise was much more tail happy. I just attributed this to settings, new car and my lack of experience in the car. Could it be the splitter and was the wrong one installed at the factory??
  19. I could stir up some trouble if you would like... Give you something to do
