  1. No- def. not a dumb idea and no need for apologies. Just asking on the forum as many times others experience the same issues.
  2. Ads--Not the stick type --thanks I'm thinking (this where things go south) I could drill a neat hole in the liner and get to the nut with a socket. I hate to do this but I also would hate to have to pull the side panel off--any other thoughts??
  3. My driver side mirror has become loose at its base. Before I break something... can it be tightened without pulling off the side panel? Anyone has drawings/instructions? Manny
  4. Me imagino que la carrera fue buena... Pero las Ticas... WoW. Congrats on your well deserved win!!
  5. Jack, What tire pressure are you running on the Yoko slicks? I'll be putting mine on as soon as the fuel issue is taken care of.
  6. Nope, I heard the titaniums were the quickest so thats what I got.
  7. Great vid. I was on the edge as well. Those Porker RSs are amazing cars. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Take care of yourself.
  9. Unfortunately, I will have just arrived back from a trip to Europe. And I think I have a track event that weekend.
  10. Adam, I sure did. While passing. Think how happy the guy I had just passed felt about the situation.
  11. Wow... this can be a hell of a problem. At just under a half a tank I thought that I would not come up on this. Have to resolve this as it's just too dangerous for me and more so for my track buddies.
  12. Sorry. As per your instructions, I cannot reply.
  13. Look at post #6 in that thread. All the way on the bottom. (I do see your point if it's just a certification process)
  14. Sorry I can't take a picture at this time. As I write this I just finished loading the car into the trailer. Its going to be a fun weekend! If no one else beats me to it I will post one sometime next week. PS - I used Duct tape-- fixes everything!
  15. FYI - I noticed some fairly significant rubbing with the body panel. The wear is almost all the way through. Squishing the tube gives a bit of relief. It seems the steel intercooler pipes don't allow the flexible hose to fit correctly. All cars are different so hopefully others are ok.
  16. Some info. on the above thread. Maybe a safety solutions r-3 type restraint would work with our seats???
  17. Lets see if I learned how to post pics.? This ones for you - Bert. Ha I got it. Looking forward to a pic. of your titanium without the stripes. I think it will be stunning.
  18. At-motorlife Might just be enough for us short dudes! Just saw this on lotustalk. I don't understand the language, and I'm not too keen on the way it mounts without an explanation, but it may offer a solution to some.
  19. Bert- you have excellent taste in color. I don't know how you can stand the wait? Nick, has anybody ever called you Saint Nick?
  20. When you get all the details look into Safecraft products. Lots of please users on the Ford GT. Excellent support too.
  21. Matt-- I know what you mean about the snow and all. It kills us every winter down here in South Florida too. Welcome aboard.
  22. Sounds like the time I got stuck up in my attic when the ladder fell. I wholeheartedly feel my wife chose to ignore my yells. For hours... As for sanding the seat, I see your point. It is just an option available, one which I felt comfortable doing. What I took off is basically part of the edge or lip on each side. It reduces the width just enough to use the "vertically challenged settings". Again- a very valid point on safety.
  23. ^ LoL Gav, The bottom of the cap says Newton Equipment - England. Maybe look em up and see what comes of it? Better, go put mine back now before I loose it.
