Did you work out how to fit the roof into the boot?
Upside down, back to front.

There'll be a new narrative coming from Putin given his failure to subjugate Ukraine. To protect himself from being deposed he'll claim to be a brilliant tactician by diverting Ukrainian forces with feigned attacks on cities so that his "peacekeeping" army was able to secure the Donbas. Only problem though will be a new Ukraine resolve that they may as well carry on the fight, throw Putin totally out of their country, regain the eastern regions and the Crimea.

Taiwan until 1600's was an independent country. Then came the Dutch, for a few decades, who were thrown out by some Chinese dynasty. China had it for about 200 years until 1895, then Japan until the end of WW2 and then independence.
China's claim is tenuous.

What sort of incentives would it take for his own to depose him?
Could Xi Jinping become the champion of the world by siding with the world against him? Wouldn't take much. And Russia is 146m so a small market compared to the ROW which China could lose.

Wonder how much his cronies would want to turn him in?

Very sorry to learn of Martin's passing. My wife and I are saddened and our thoughts and best wishes are with Linda, his family and close friends.
I met Martin in 1983 when my wife and I, whilst touring Europe, popped in to say hello to Linda, who we first met and knew well in Australia. I was overawed seeing Martin arriving home from work in a Ferrari Daytona. He and Linda showered us with hospitality and had us with them in events at Brands and Donnington. I still fondly remember being cramped in the passenger seat of his GT40 going from the transporter, onto the track and into his pit. Our stay with Martin and Linda was one of the best highlights of our six months in Europe.
Since then there were more occasions when Martin and Linda did the same for us and our children, hosting our son early after he finished his schooling a number of years ago.
Martin was one of the nicest guys I've met in the car and racing fraternity and it was an honour to have known him.
RIP Martin

I read that Putin is now going to do to Kyiv and the other cities what he did to Grozny. Surround them before total destruction with bombardment from afar.
Hope the Ukrainians have a superior counter strategy.

Putin in on a personal crusade to restore greater Russia and ultimately repatriate Alaska, which was a bad deal when it was sold to the USA for $7.2m in 1867.

Here's what the S2000 rack looks like inside.
-
When Mazda were developing the ND, current, MX5, they found mounting the motor on the rack had less flex and better feel. Info about 40s into this link:
The S2000 motor is also rack mounted.

That Chinese tyre company probably makes Pirelli during the day and "moonlights" at night with its own brand.

Great work Mike. Like the eccentric throttle cam. Not many do that.

Some system that limits usage. EG a log book and/or notification to you each time it's being enjoyed.
I'd be happy to do that but in oz. Here we have a similar system for historic car use. I need to fill out a log each day I use my historic car and am limited to a max of 60 days in the year. The benefits are 60 days is more than enough for me, it preserves the car's condition better, it's only used for enjoyment and my comprehensive insurance is very cheap.

PM sent. 4 spot or pot. Much the same depending which side of the world we're in.

I posted something similar in the Esprit Parts Wanted section but only got 25 hits.
So asking here in general in case somebody has a Brembo caliper stored somewhere.
If you have a Brembo 4 spot caliper to sell can you let me know what you have?
Thanks
Dan

I've found and wondered about these sort of housing cracks. Goggle searching seem to show it as a regular concern with the consensus being it's a normal occurance.

How bad is having a crack at the body mount where the engine bay and the trunk meet, (under the engine coolant overflow bottle)?
Not good. All the rear loads will be through the bulkhead plates now. There'll be a loss of longitudinal torsional stiffness which you'll feel.
Best to fix it asap. Not with the original bobbins because they don't work well in shear. Do the repair with plates sandwiching the fiberglass.

I'm after a LH Brembo front caliper for the Esprit (MY 1994 on).
Older members may remember the Lotus Surplice Parts sales about 15 years ago. I bought two new Brembos and had stored them until a week ago. I'm fitting them to my S4, which predated the Brembos update by about 15 builds.
I never checked at the time and have found that I received two RH calipers. It's a long shot but somebody here might have two LH calipers from those sales or a used one. Or maybe somebody knows of another car that used the same calipers.
So if anyone can help please contact me.
Thanks. Dan.
