There you go jp, £95000 Inc komotec, I'm sure for the original £100000 oakmeare can throw in a Toyota for the family duties! Gav
-
I will tell Jamie to give it extra spit and polish! Gav
-
Definitely Domguy's and mine, maybe Simons?? How many do we need before they are classed as common? We may have to park at opposite ends of the car park. Gav
-
Simon, no not long. Its embarrasing to admit as a grown adult but, I am getting quite excited! I know how my 4 year old feels now. My weekend plans have been mucked around a bit but still coming back on Monday as I've got a hospital appointment mid afternoon. If you are about Monday and I've got enough time I will pop in on my way back for a pit stop. Its a good job Ive got no money left as the Komotec does sound good...............no no no no no........... Gav

Well I have to say its been an experience trying to sort insurance out for my GTE. I spoke to other owners and tried the usual suspects but give Darren at AIB his due, no only has he come up with the cheapest (I know I know!) but by fare the best policy. Its a Hiscox bespoke policy with some useful features, this is more down to the car than anything else but I'm more than happy. I cant recommend them highly enough. Gav

Stu, not got mine yet but I'm sure better people will be along to comment. 1. Don't know! 2. In sport, yes it blips the throttle on down change. 3. Don't know yet but not being a fan of autos I'm sure I will find something! That said each update seems to make an improvement. Gav

Cheers Greg, Buit I dont have the car yet and I dont know if its general release software or they are trying them on the GTE's. Anyway, spoken to Jamie at B&C and it was done last week! Yipee Gav (getting a little excited now, GTE day -3 and counting!)
-
Dom, have you any reference to the software? May see if Jamie at Bell and colvill can do mine before Friday. Cheers Gav

I wanted a 2+2 and I like blue, not a fan of autos on sports cars but test drive the ips and was pleasantly surprised. Realistically the sort of motoring I do the auto will probabley be better. Get the Newcastle car, save some money and go and get some carbon from hkfever, job done. Gav
-
Step away from my car
-
Its a big job so generally accepted its cheaper to change the car. The Newcastle car is 2+2 but not as much carbon and Ips. Gav

This is the picture I was looking for, definatly no roll bar, but it does look really light inside. Even if it was done such that only the front half was clear and the rest painted to hide the roll bar, I think it would look great! http://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop/201003/2010-lotus-evora-414e-hyb-4_600x0w.jpg Gav

Remove panel in front of dial pod?
21gg replied to CocoPops's topic in Interior/Exterior/Lights/Glass/Alarms/ICE/HVAC/Other
I cheated as I have done with all my cars and just fed it under the edge of the door seal. I find a tea spoon handle an ideal tool! Gav -

Yes there is plenty of space to slide one of the magnetic backed aerials in there.you may find the standard ome fits, can't remember though. I'm surprised the clams aren't held on with it for easy access! Gav -

The one behind the instrument pod tucks in and is secured with Velcro! Just tug at the front edge. Gav -
It will be, I've done twice, if I had to do it again I would be buying the harness too! Gav
-
Well done! is that 6 owners on here now? Gav

Stunning! How many weeks, days, minutes......
