    Try these for size. Both seats have a small white mark on the centre line - you can just see it in the picture of the passenger seat squab.

    Thanks Bibs, I had better take some pics then! They are straight forward to fit, the most you would need to do is to drill 4 holes (through the floor) per seat and then slot the new seat in and do up 4 nuts. I'll go and sort out the pics. Ged

    Alan, If you don't already have them, what you need is a pair of V8 comfort seats - I happen to know of a pair in that colour that are for sale!

    No sorry mate, a pair of comfort seats and a pair of front spring/damper units, but no sunroof stuff.

    Alan, Why mess around with all that? Get yourself an S4 heater panel, then use the framework as I suggested earlier on! That way all you need to do is adjust one part, rather than getting this made, getting that made, fettling this, changing that...... Ged

    Alan, I still have the frame from an S4 in the above pics, unfortunately I don't think I have the heater control panel though.

    That is how mine started out. Mine was an 89 Turbo. Cut out the heater control panel from the frame and bin it, cut out the thin piece that goes across above the single DIN radio aperture and bin it. Get an S4 heater control bracket and weld it in in place of your current one.

    The heater panel is an S4 heater panel. I drilled out the spot welds that hold the HVAC control knob bracket and re-welded the bracket and therefore HVAC control knobs at the bottom of the heater frame, thus giving enough room for the double DIN unit above. Simples!

    Yes mate, bitter sweet is the term, glad to sell but sad to have to sell it - if you see what I mean. Unfortunately being a 2 seater it's card was marked. Ged

    Sold the Esprit today to a chap from Mildenhall. Got some spares to sell, V8 comfort seats, pair of front spring/damper units ready to bolt on and an SE spoiler. The seats are already listed in the classifieds. The other bits I will get round to soon. Now on the look out for a Jaaaag XKR. Cheers, Ged

    The bodywork is the area that I haven't done much work to at all - it's more as Edd China does on Wheeler Dealers where all the effort goes into the mechanical and therefore unseen parts! Except for the SATNAV (with reversing camera - which has saved the back end of the car on a couple of occasions) as you pointed out. I'm afraid I've succumbed to "subtle hints" from 'Er indoors on that score mate!

    The Esprit passed it's MOT today - Woohoo! MOT man was very complimentary as well. So now it's got full MOT and 6 months tax and it's advertised on here Gumtree and Pistonheads.

    Could be a blocked receiver/drier. It would still hold vacuum and the compressor would still operate if powered directly. Ged
