  1. The circuit is one of the truly great circuits in Europe with a mix of fast and slow corners and with one of the most famous sections in the world, the Craner Curves. After our hugely successful days at Donington the last couple of summers we’ve taken another exclusive session on a day with MSV – the circuit owner. This means LoT members will drive 1 x 20 minute session per hour. If all goes to plan that’s 7 sessions over the day. General circuit information: HERE Noise limit: 98db driveby at trackside* Noise Limits Static test – A noise meter is placed at a 45 degree angle to the exhaust outlet and 50cm away. The car is then held at 3/4 of its maximum rev limit and the highest reading recorded is the cars recorded noise output for the day. A static limit of 105db is very high and very few cars have an issue with this. At 98db cars with a cat, std factory manifolds and exhausts will generally be ok. Anyone with a very loud exhaust/manifold should be careful. Drive by – This test is recorded at track side as the car is moving at track speed. Depending on the circuit the reading will be taken between right next to the track and up to 20 meters away. Cars with forced induction tend to have more issues with drive by, even though they tend to pass static tests as the s/c or turbo’s only kick in when run at speed. There are many things that affect drive by readings from wind direction, air temperature, how low the cloud cover is or even what line you are driving. Close Format: Sessioned (3 x 20mins per hour) Format A sessioned event means that the day will be structured into usually 3 separate groups which take it in turns to go out on track for a set time, normally 20 minutes. Each car will be restricted to their group for the duration of the day. Drivers are generally allocated a group depending on their experience level or type of car. An Open Pit Lane event means that cars are free to go out onto the track when they choose (providing the circuit limit or our normally reduced limit has not been reached). Close Experience level: All levels Experience Levels All levels: Everyone Beginner: 1st ever track day Novice: 1-5 track days without a major circuit Intermediate: 5+ track days including a major circuit Advanced: Attended a number of open pit lane days at a range of circuits Close Important participant & vehicle information: Please read Participant & Vehicle Information Clothing must fully cover arms & legs. 2. We’ve run an evening at Donington Park for the last 6 or 7 years. Donington offers the best value evening track day in the UK as track time runs from 17.30-20.30 – 3 hours. We’re sharing the day with the circuit owner MSV. Lotus on Track will start the evening with a 30 minute session that includes the sighting laps, MSV will then run their own 30 minute session before LoT have a 20 minute session which will alternate with MSV. If all goes to plan LoT members will drive: 17.30-18.00, 18.30-18.50, 19.10-19.30, 19.50-20.10 – so one and a half hours of track time! Probably more than you’d use if open pit lane. 3. Designed from scratch by former F1 driver Jonathan Palmer, there is nowhere else in the world like Bedford Autodrome. The venue has been purpose built for speed and space with vast run-off areas that provide optimum safety. 8. The Snetterton 300 circuit has a superb mix of sweeping corners, pair of chicanes, the great Bombhole and never ending Coram. General circuit information: HERE Noise limit: 105db static / 92db drive by Noise Limits Static test – A noise meter is placed at a 45 degree angle to the exhaust outlet and 50cm away. Close Experience level: No beginners please Experience Levels All levels: Everyone Beginner: 1st ever track day Novice: 1-5 track days without a major circuit Intermediate: 5+ track days including a major circuit Advanced: Attended a number of open pit lane days at a range of circuits Close Driver & vehicle safety: Please read Participant & Vehicle Information Clothing must fully cover arms & legs. Crash helmets must be in good condition and suitable for circuit driving in a car. 15. All bookings now – strictly members only Built into the natural contours of the Cheshire countryside, Oulton Park’s combination of stunning scenery and spectacular configuration make it one of the most picturesque and best-loved driver circuits in the UK. Over more than 60 years it has gathered a reputation as the country’s toughest test for both car and driver. General circuit information: HERE Noise limit: 105db static & 92db DriveBy Noise Limits Static test – A noise meter is placed at a 45 degree angle to the exhaust outlet and 50cm away. Close Format: Open pit lane Format A sessioned event means that the day will be structured into usually 3 separate groups which take it in turns to go out on track for a set time, normally 20 minutes. 23. The Circuit du Var is located on the French Riviera near Toulon. The 2.4km track was initially a F1 test track in the 80s for AGS, a F1 team located at the circuit. When the team ceased to operate in F1, it was decided to create a racing school where F3 and F1 cars could be driven, which is still the case today! General circuit information: HERE Noise limit: 105db static & 100db drive by at track side Noise Limits Static test – A noise meter is placed at a 45 degree angle to the exhaust outlet and 50cm away. Close Format: Open pit lane Format A sessioned event means that the day will be structured into usually 3 separate groups which take it in turns to go out on track for a set time, normally 20 minutes.
