Hope all got back OK with the road works.

Had to pull in for an ambulance with blue lights, sobering, But had a great cross country drive back just a shame too many people don't seem understand dipping their lights.

Just curious, Is Drift in an instruction on how to enter their carpark? 😉

Probably see a few of you at this Thruxton thing in a couple of weeks, in the meantime have fun and try not to get cooked.

I think kev did quite a good job by himself. Although nothing a bit of P40 can't fix I'm sure.

Fantastic day at bicester heritage today, saw 2 Lotus, excel for restoration and a gorgeous 26R being race prepped. Definitely an interesting place for any petrol head lots going on there but I get the sense it's all well beyond my budget.

Soft top won in the end.

No date yet for September, but it will need to be in the last two weeks for me. Any suggestions for a date/venue?

The ugly word Chr***mas came up on Tuesday as well. Anybody up for the William Walker again?

Christmas, bloody hell its still August. I thought we were the disorganised group.

Birthday yesterday, struggling today. So can't offer much in the way of a suggestion, September weathers an unknown but the mayfly's great if its nice, I don't think we've done the 3 cups for a while, there's also the white heart at the end of Stockbridge high Street but I don't know about the beer situation.

I'm easy.

Chaps, William Walker at Christmas sounds good to me!

Unfortunately, I can't do Wednesday's (girls footie training), so I will have to wait to hear how Kenny is getting on re Emira!

Enjoy next week, and I'll hope to catch up with you in October.

28th presently good for me too, hopefully should make this one.

Alas no interesting s1 stories just been driving it, with no problems (probably cursed it now).

Perhaps I'll have to regail you with my close encounter with a deer🦌 instead. (No cars involved)

28th is good for me, as is the William Walker whenever they can have us.

There's not a lot to report on the Emira front, I haven't heard a word since I last harassed them.

I agree, although I can't remember talking about ya baws. 😜

Was going to make a joke about feeling fobbed off with your gift @pbharcourt, but didn't like the connotations.

Hope all got back OK.

Had a nice sensible drive back as I pulled out the carpark to see a cop car go my way,  was just waiting to be pounced on. Didn't see it again or even any live wildlife but my satnav was convinced there was a BEAR right.🐻
