Maxi_z 106
Hi I have an exige cup fitted with racing manifolds and a decat pipe and I have to bring the car at the french equivalent of mot where they will look at emissions. I would like to not remove the racing manifolds but instead replace the center decat pipe with a 200 cells sports cat as the ones from larini or komotec. Do you know if that should be ok for usual euro emissions? Anyone have a similar sports cat for sale used? Thanks
GFWilliams 2,009
I have the Komo-Tec sports cat and it passed the UK MOT IIRC it’s TÜV approved too?
Francescopol 3
hello maxi-z your car is totally decatalized? have you lowered the engine temperatures much? and the performance? I would have intentioned too Francesco
Kristof Thys 197
A 200cell cat in-between the decat pipe will indeed do the trick. DixieV6 on this board has done the same.

tomprout 5
Hello, There are plenty places where you can give an extra 50€ to help to have your car pass the emissions test especially in the Alpes Maritimes... 😉
