Anyone replaced front discs on Brembo equipped car

Recommended Posts

I've done the rears with no problems encountered, but had a look at the front Brembo calipers today and it doesn't look that simple. The main problem is if I remove the caliper, the brake line is a metal tube rather than the more simple rubber tubing (that's on the rear Brembo calipers) - and I'm sure the metal tubing will stress and snap. I don't want to have to bleed and disconnect everything.

My question is: Does this metal tubing flex enough so that the caliper can sit out of the way whilst the rotor is replaced ?? Seems like quite a solid bit of non flexible metal tubing to me.
