Bosch Fuel Accumulator

Recommended Posts

My 1986 turbo HCI has Bosch fuel injection with 2 fuel pumps and a Bosch fuel accumulator. The accumulator looks like it has a small brass screw at one end. From this screw, it was a little wet. Then I wiped it with a towel, and it got worse. Started to drip.

I have the engine out for a rebuild, so there is no gas in the tank anymore. Now is the time to get it fixed.

Can this be fixed, or do you need to get a new one? And if so, where do you get them?

Just stumbled across this post.

I think many of the Bosch K-Jetronic parts were also used on early Audi 80 and Mercedes injected models.
