Window Gap - Interior/Exterior/Lights/Glass/Alarms/ICE/HVAC/Other - The Lotus Forums Jump to content

Do all S3 Exige have a small gap at the top of the window at the side.

not very well described but it seems that if you were outside the car standing just behind the door if you chucked a bucket of water over the car towards the front , water would get in the cabin.

or maybe my roof or windows aren’t properly fitted ?

I think the answer to that one is........”they’re all like that Sir!”🙄 Although my passenger one is almost completely water tight........but when washing the car water will get in on the drivers side if I’m not careful.

The windows are adjustable, if it’s leaking get it adjusted.

Stephen is incorrect, they shouldn’t leak!

Interesting - will have a word with my Lotus tech when it’s back in for service. Mine doesn’t let in much and is only noticeable when I power wash, but it still happens

Edit : found this for the similar/same Elise......might even manage this myself. Nice shout George👍

Yup. Adjust them. My S2 Elise and S2 Exige both needed adjustment. The S3 hasn’t for me.
