Standard V8 Backbox Needed

Hi

As you may or may not know I am just finishing off a V6 conversion on my Esprit which is posted in the project and restoration room.

I am at present the proud owner of two V8 sports backboxes (long story) one of which is fitted on the car and the other sat on the kitchen floor.

My problem is as I am not using cats or turbos there is nothing to dampen the sound so it is just too loud.

I was wondering if anybody here has an old standard backbox (maybe left over from an upgrade or something) that they might want to get rid of, or swap your standard unit for one of the units I have. I would even consider a temporary swap if you wanted to see what a sports box sounded like on yours but didn't want to commit yourself to having it for ever, as eventually I hope to have a system custom made when funds allow.

Both of the boxes I have are in good usable condition one had a few hairline cracks that I have had welded up,and the other just needs a clean and only has light surface rust on the pipes.

All options considered
