I want to change the colour of my spoiler struts and fuel cap surround to match more similarly the wheels. I've got a good powder coat guy who's happy to sort it but is it the right option?

Most powder coat the spoiler struts, unsure on petrol cap surround, mines anodised.

I spray painted my surround, primer, gloss black and then clear. Matches better than any pics I've seen of the anodized variants - plus way cheaper.

I've got a spare one if you want to have a go at finishes?

Thanks for the offer that's very kind, I think I'll be okay though 😁

No problem, bought myself a spare to try things on and don't need it anymore haha

All you need is a pry tool, towel and lots of patience to remove it. Same goes for the gasket, be gentle.
