I am confused about which coolant to use in 900 series engines, I know I could go for waterless but for now I want to use water and additive, my question is do I use red or blue, which one do I buy?

I would suggest Blue  (any good quality ethelyne glycol)  - its safe with solder & brazed parts.  I understand 'modern' pink OAT coolant may not be

I am going to use waterless coolant after seeing what 40 years of water can do. IMG_20190826_155859.jpg.8f77799c46c5fcb8e0e8d291770662bd.jpgHopefully the waterless stuff will stop the rot. Given the price though, I wasn't to be sure I don't have any leaks first!

Water has two things going for it,: price and availability😉

I'm using distilled water with Redline Water Wetter.

Seems fine.

I spoke to Mike Taylor about this and he uses Valvoline red additive, so it is red for me.
