srs airbag expert? - Interior/Exterior/Lights/Glass/Alarms/ICE/HVAC/Other - The Lotus Forums Jump to content

Airbag light came on (Evora S1).
The only change I've made is moving the steering wheel nearer to me on its adjustment.

I have a code reader for srs and can communicate via the obd port. SRS reads no fault found. Reset to clear codes doesn't work.

Confounding and perhaps irrelevant info.

I recently changed the seats and removed the seatbelt and put it back. That was a few weeks ago and no problems have shown.

The handbrake has reached the end of it's travel and needs the cables adjusting. (I believe there is a connection between the handbrake and power to other systems).

Anyone had similar.
Anyone know where to start looking for the unrecorded fault that keeps the srs light alive?

Might not be of any help but My Merc twice had a similar SRS problem.

Once it was the seat belt mount (that the buckle goes into) - replaced and sorted

Next it was the pressure pad of the seat base - bought a second hand one and that fixed it
