Gold FFM Mightymetro 275 Posted October 20, 2019 Gold FFM Report Share Posted October 20, 2019 Sorry to ask more questions but does anyone know the bearing numbers for the front inner and outer wheel bearings? I’ve found them for earlier cars but I’m not sure if they ever changed design. I have removed my old bearings (both taper) but unfortunately the part number is difficult to read and someone has been in there before so I’d rather do everything from scratch thanks again
andydclements 754
SJsportscars list the same kit number for 88-92 and 93 onwards, so appears they remained unchanged
Gold FFM Mightymetro 275 Posted October 20, 2019 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted October 20, 2019 Thanks again Andy, just realised I should have checked. Have just ordered a load of stuff from SJ I believe the part numbers for the bearings to be SKF numbers LM 67048/LM 67010 LM 11949/LM 11910
red vtec 183
When I did mine is just drifted them out and took them to a local bearing shop. A lot cheaper. The Seal is 48 x 62 x 7 mm with a dustlip. For the fitting of the new bearing cups I turned the OD of 2 old cups down on my lathe, so they can be used as a tool for pressing in the new cups.
