Looking foward to sharing tales of woe, financial ruin, having a good chuckle at my expense and great driving experiences.

Living in South Africa, we're blessed with awesome weather - It's the middle of winter now and today, sun's shining and should be about 26 degrees. We have great open roads and only spoilt by irritating traffic cops behind every bush. I'm budgeting on about ZAR1500 a month on speeding fines - about $250, so got that sorted...

And of course, hearing from you almighty knowledgable types for a bit of advice if (read when) things go wrong. Not being pessimistic or anything, but my new toy's really behaving itself and an absolute pleasure to drive. Well worth the 24 year wait.

Hi Mark and welcome. Some friends of mine are in SA (East London) at the moment following a family passing there and catching up with everyone since they emigrated to Australia a few years ago. From their descriptions sounds like a beautiful country. Pity you all play rugby so well and stop us aussies from even winning a trick these past few weeks.

Just don't look under the engine cover... That's one mean oily mess under there. I think lots of polishing and powdercoating will be happening when I've got NOTHING else to do...
