The queues to get off my industrial estate have gone mental!

Not due to the number of people working but the fooking queues for KFC!

I kid you not! They opened last week and the were queuing on to Norwich inner ring road. Well now they have a guy with some cones shutting it off to people trying to get onto the site...meaning all those people wanting to turn right into the KFC sit in the road...blocking the road for everyone else leaving work!

I would have thought all this time off would have given people who cant cook time to learn new skills but apparently not! Who would queue for KFC! ...Especially as there is a MFC in Great Yarmouth! Always makes me laugh that one is it really "Mother Fookin Chicken" I wonder?

Rant over

As soon as the KFC opened I noticed used packaging around the industrial estate. Who does that? Im guessing they just chuck it out of the window as they drive away or drop it as they walk home????

At least it's paper not polystyrene. The chip shop at the bottom of town here used to do takeaways in yellow polystyrene clam boxes, and on Saturday and Sunday morning there would be drifts of them  by the riverside. I think once it's seen as normal  a lot of people think it's ok. I asked the shop nicely if they could do anything and they told me to get stuffed. 😂 what was I expecting?? Luckily there's another chippy up the high street,  wraps in paper and doesn't have the littering problem.

One day soon we will be allowed to go get chips in Wales!👍

I recall, many years ago, reading a news story where the cyclist involved in a collision was adamant he was in the cycle lane, yet one didn't exist there. Turns out he thought those no-parking  lines were a cycle lane.

How about letting kids play football in the park? If you factor in children's cross infection and outdoor transmission, it's probably safer than opening garden centres and takeaways.

Still,  garden centres and takeaways can open here in Wales,  but you can't drive there as it's clearly not essential. Obviously you could walk,  run or cycle there,  but the car parks are busy.

Can you imagine the length of the queue as blokes try to remember it?

Try this YouTube version.  (hopefully it won't be one of those not available in your country vids)

@comem47 - actually it still says 'Video unavailable' - but it doesn't say its country related.

All I can suggest is searching for videos under the subject of "decoding covid -19"

This proposed incoming aviation passengers 14 days quarantine restriction is an odd one. Apparently it won’t include passengers from Ireland or France. Why? Are they immune to contracting and spreading CV-19, whereas people coming from other countries are not? Conversely are all UK passengers immune to spreading the virus in those two countries? Weird.

U turn time. Now UK Government is backtracking on this with regards to France at least. Only visitors from Ireland remain exempt from the quarantine restrictions. All other incoming travellers, whether by planes, trains or automobiles (and ferries) will need to self-isolate for 14 days.
