Hi Harry. Email is correct. I can’t find anything 4th March. Hope you and your family are well in these troubling times. I have no idea if the Cwp in my box has been upgraded. How would I know it is or will be a problem. Car has done 61000 miles. As for the dry sump oil pump. I have a spare housing and 2 annulus but no shaft or other bits are you familiar with them? J

Hi,  I have send you PM. About the oil pump, I would need the parts.

We are still ok, intelligent " lock down " they say. Workshop is only 300 m from my house.

Be safe, stay well,

Thank you. I will save up for the parts when I can work again. Self employed so not earning during the virus. As for the oil pump you would need my current one to copy? For my spare one?  Not sure I want to do that yet. Stay safe. J

What is the benefit of reversing them ? I’m assuming this is the Citroen boxes rather than the Renault ones.

Any benefit to reversing the Renault set?.

Only here once

These are for the Citroen boxes. I believe that the crown wheel run backwards in the Esprit so contacts the 'softer' back side of the teeth.

They look fantastic and I'm saving hard for a set 🙂

It's getting there......

Barry,  here you'll find answers to your questions and a history of the development of this concept:   https://www.lotustalk.com/threads/citroën-g-box-crown-wheel-and-pinion.350506/

@Barrykearley there is a lot of info on here as well. Has to do with the driven and the non-driven sides of the teeth on the crownwheel.

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, some just stink more than others.
