The rubber in the diaphragm had probably turned porous, glad it's sorted. :thumbup:

Don't see how to make sense of this. The fuel line must surely place carb inlets in parallel to each other, therefore whatever pressure exists at one must be the same at the 2nd. Why on earth would on

Of all the things ive replaced on the car, the fuel pump is not one of them, therefore it does make sense. I think ill change it anyway.....
