More power, Evora S with IPS?

Is there a limit to what the IPS box will handle? How far to people go upgrading their autos, especially SC models?

From what ive read 390 is fine, 430 also works but they say you may not get the full ammount all the time. You can also fit a 400 undertray to help with engine bay cooling.

Lotus added a transmission oil cooler on all 410, 430 Sport and GT cars and later added onto the 400's for the hotter US climate.

My bad .. you are talking of the automatic which always came with a trans oil cooler.  I was talking of the manual

Sorry I’m confused. Would my MY14 EvoraS IPS have this oil cooler fitted or would it need mods if I am considering a 410bhp upgrade?

All IPS cars have a gearbox oil cooler as Julian points out.

If you can fit the 400 under tray, or perhaps one from GRG then do so - I always found with mine that while the fans did their job and get engine temp in check, it was quite prone to showing high engine temperature when idling and sitting in traffic, even on a cold day!
